LOL at Chelsea trying to sign Pato. 17 year old kid with obvious talent but unproven still..how is he going to cope in the Chelsea team? 26 million is what they're saying..not sure if its dollars or pounds. He should stay at Internacional for a couple more seasons.

Indeed, but Nani has played International games. Along with Anderson. Nani played the whole season, Anderson half due to injury. I believe Pato hasn't played a full season yet.

However Pato does need a work permit, plus as hes u18 he can only go to Portugal..looks like he will out on loan first..thats better in a way.I still think needs to stay at Internacional though.

If Barca dont improve their defence then they wont beat the crap out of everyone in La Liga or win the champs league again.

Yaya Toure may well prove to be a more important signing than Henry.He is a tough defensive midfield player and he can play as well.This is what Barcelona were missing last season.They need a new centre half as well.Marques was poor last season and Puyol wasn't great either.

Chivu is a quality defender(apart from that disaster showing against Man Utd) but i dont think Abidal is that good.He looked poor in the World Cup.He doesn't improve on Van Bronkhurst imo.

^^In the french league maybe(Boumsong and Cisse were awesome in the french league) but i have doubts about his quality for la liga and the champs. league.I thought he looked a little out of his depth at the World Cup and was France's weak link.

Wolfsburg bought a Bosnian kid. Edin Dzeko.

He was the best player in the FK Teplice team from the Czech republic and was voted the best young player in the league.

he's 20 so I have no idea how he'll play in the Bundesliga, but he's tall and fast and physical.

Chelsea have apparently tabled a bid for Malouda around the 12M mark although Lyon are holding out for about 16M. I prefer Robben myself but eh, thats Chelsea for you.
