Sunderland are linked with Forlan.He might go because he has unfinished business in the premiership.I thought the criticism he got at Man Utd was a little unfair.He has been excellent since moving to Villareal.17 goals so far this season.I think he was top scorer last season.

I guess since they have Mascherano, and they've signed Lucas, they can probably afford to let him go. They need to strengthen in other areas anyway.

Forlan would get a good reaction from the Old Trafford crowd, he was always a fan favourite. Scored some important goals, but just didn't score enough.

Pizarro is a decent free signing for Chelsea. They're going to miss Drogba and Kalou for a month (though I'm not sure they'll miss Kalou) so they need cover. I guess that's why they got Sidwell too, for when they lose Essien and Mikel.

Its awful poor organisation to play the African Nations Cup in Winter.What reason do they have for doing this?Is it because it would be too hot in summer?If anything it is a hindrance to European based players because if they are missing for a month then they might lose their place in the team.It would do more for African football if they have players playing in the top European leagues on a regular basis.

Munich has offered 20 MIL for him, while Marseilles want 25, but.... Ribery refuses to move to Germany or play for Munich and wants to play for Spain. There have been no offers from Spanish clubs, but Real Madrid official have been keeping an eye on him, with no offer just yet. The only other offer is from Arsenal, who refuse to pay more than 15 MIL for him.
