Evan Ramsey...

Ok, I'm only writing this because I was watching CNN the other day, and they interviewed Evan Ramsey who took a gun to school and killed 2 peopple. It was on because of the Virginia Tech Shooting.

Ok now killing is bad, and I'm not supporting Cho or any of those shooters here but I'm writing about Evan. When I saw him on tv I felt so sad for him. He looked so shy and his voice was so shakey like he was about to cry. So I decided to look him up on google and I read about his childhood and everything and I cried my freaking eyes out because it was so sad. His parents were never there for him, he was sexually abused in his foster homes, the stupid kids in school bullied him, spit on him, and even went to his house just to beat him up. The poor guy even slept on the outside of peoples houses because he couldn't leave him alcholic mother.

So in order for people in school to leave him alone, he decided to take a gun and scare them. He wasn't gonna shoot but 2 of his idiot friends told him that if he wants people to really leave him alone, he will have to shoot someone. And thats what he did. He killed a student and the principal, and was going to commit suicide but couldn't, so he just surendered. He was sentenced to 200 years in prison, and is eligable for parole when hes 75. So in other words hes going to rot in prison because he just wanted to be free from all his pain.

I really think that he shouldn't of been punished so severely, I mean come on he was only 16..he should've just gotten like 5 or 10 years in prison and thats it. I'm actually going to help him out somehow once I find out how I can write to him in Alaska and see if I can find a private lawyer or something.

Just felt like taking this off my shoulders. Good day.

yes I watched and I think that out of all the school killers he's the only one that shouldn't have been sentenced...

These others were crazy in their heads. Evan was abused in any possible way... He wasn't crazy, he was just sick of it all...

yea i agree with morris.

saying that he shouldnt be sentenced because he had hard times in life is just idiotic. that what doesnt kill you will only make you stronger. do you know how many other people in life, famous and not, have had shitty childhoods but still managed to overcome their difficulties and be successful?

everything you listed, shortie, are common factors in all these school shoots. loners, bullied, meds, sexual abuse, etc are all things the murders in these school shootings have gone through in life.

Regardless of what he has been through he killed two people.

This is why I say the problem isnt gun control but why these people go out and do what they do. Prevent them from being bullied, abused, whatever. People need to look more into how he got this way and not how he killed someone, not escape routes incase it happens again. Prevent the thought from even happening first.

I agree. Its like whenever something like this happens the media quickly says oh they were crazy kids who got a gun. What about all the abuse these kids suffered? Can't they look into that too for a change?

And Bhuddahhoodlum his sentenced was given before the Vtech shooting, he was tried as an adult:(

Lots of people have tough lives. He should have faced the bullies, perhaps dropped out of school and got a job, maybe even started "hustling" or something but killing people because someone picks on you and you aren't able to defend yourself is not okay. Hell, he could've even just complained to the teachers, there's always that one teacher who wishes every kid was his/her own and does all thats possible to help them. Killing anyone isn't an answer, he's in jail and deserves to be there. He had options.
