LMFAO @Italy. Did they really think they deserve to host a Euro? Haha.
Everytime i see a relative "poor" country getting a huge event like this (like S.Africa 2010) i think: "Is there no other more useful way of spending billions of dollars than putting it into the the building of football stadiums?

At one point we we're favored, now not even 1 vote. I blame the Hungarians. When the UEFA officials went to visit, there were protests by the Hungarian people saying that they didn't support it.

Of course do i respect most players of the team. How could i not? People like Cannavaro, Nesta and Co. They have great qualities plus they are fair players.
On the other hand, there are many things which clearly make italy dislikable! - Who cheated a penalty against Australia? Who said stupid things about Zidanes sister or mother (cant remember)? Who is/was known for acting on the pitch like only the best hollywood acters could do it? Who has not a spark of decency after losing the voting for the Euro 2012? Who has a president like Berlusconi? Who has the most fucked up league in Europe? Whos country is riddled with corruption? And so on....

Um how is it sounding like a child? If a team cannot proceed through to the final on fair merits then they shouldn't be there at all. To steal a penalty like that in the quarter finals of the world cup, and at the very last moments of the game was just complete bullshit. It was completely disgusting to watch that, seeing as Australia outplayed you Italians, and that was the only way you would have won.
The fact is, the Italians are the perpetrators of so much bullshit, and that's why people dont like them. People dont like them because "they win" or whatever, people dont like them for the simple fact that they play dirty, they cheat, they act. How about opening your eyes to that simple fact and you won't be so defensive about any criticisms of Italian football.
