Ah, I see. Didn't think about the closed-source part of it.
You were all about your nook when it first came out or when Honeycomb was available for it.

I find that it's easier/more convenient to do lightweight stuff on my phone, and all heavy work I do on my laptop. Which is exactly what happened to both of my cousins who had iPads.... after a few months, the novelty wore off and they just didn't get used much. They both ended up selling them. The most useful times were on tour, when it's not practical or comfortable to have a laptop out in a car or on a plane.
Kinda why the Transformer is the most interesting to me. Just has more potential and flexibility. Especially now that Android supports USB hosting....
Which is why I'm thinking about getting a Transformer 2 because we're going to be doing a shitload of touring once the new album is out. I have to travel light. I have to have my laptop so I can work efficiently between shows. I obviously have to have my phone. If I could save having to take three devices... that would be good. if I could do all of the work I need to do on my laptop on the Transformer + Laptop dock, it'd be great.
I think tablets ought to be cheaper until there's more proven use cases.
