On another hand when people buy computers low-performance/low-voltage cpus are very niche. You can use them to enjoy media in a similar way, yet people want I5s or I7s that sell great and contribute to most CPUs sold lately, so it's not that niche.
As much as mobile phone companies want to shorten the life span of their product to force you to replace your phone every year or so people still want their PCs to last as long as they can. The mobile phone market is different from the PC market, despite the fact that the performance difference is getting smaller and Intel wants you to replace your PC every year introducing minor differences between their motherboard sockets people still want the most performance, even if they don't need it.

The audi came up after I had written off my car and was riding to work. I needed a car, and it filled a spot. A car is more of an A-B thing for me these days. The price of running a car in the UK is mental... Kind of means I no longer have love for them.

I also saw the Optimus Black next to the Xperia Arc and thought that the screen is too small. But it's 4 inches big goddamit, lol. The difference between 4 and 4,2 is very small but the Optimus Black is a small phone which makes the screen feel even smaller.
Yeah I still think that 3D is a totally unneeded gimmick. They pack shitloads of cash into it yet almost nobody wants it.

Just flashed the leaked 2.3.4 firmware for the SGS2 to my device.
Someone had built a ROM from it, so I first flashed ClockworkMod and then went with this ROM, unfortunately it had some bugs. So I ended up wiping and flashing the stock 2.3.4 ROM and going through the rooting process again.
Now I am attempting to restore my apps and data from the backup I made last night. Hopefully this goes smoothly.

Cool stuff Coops. I would advise flashing the leaked 2.3.4 firmware straight away then you won't have to back everything up and go through the whole process more than once. There is a pretty bad battery leak bug in 2.3.3 and unfortunately that's the firmware it ships with.

HTC rolling out unlocked bootloaders to select phones in August
HTC is rocking the world this Sunday evening with an announcement on its Facebook page, stating that,as promised, it's ready to begin rolling out unlocked bootloaders to the global HTC Sensation in August, followed by the Sensation 4G on T-Mobile and the EVO 3D on Sprint. The process is two-fold: first, HTC pushes a "maintenance release" to the phones, but this won't mean a thing until step two -- releasing the actual unlocking tool -- is complete in early September. This all sounds like a sure thing for the globalHTC Sensation, but the major hurdle the company faces in the US is carrier approval. In order for it to push out the update, T-Mobile and Sprint first must give the final go-ahead for the Sensation 4G andEVO 3D, so nothing here is completely set in stone until then.
Fortunately, HTC doesn't plan to stop there. According to its Facebook page, it will "continue rolling out the unlocking capability over time to other devices as part of maintenance releases and new shipments." There was no word on which handsets will receive the capability or when we can expect to see it. Naturally, with the tight grip US carriers have on subsidized handsets, it's possible you won't reap the benefits despite HTC's good intentions.
