Interesting. You seem to equate anti-Islam sentiment with hatred for Muslims. Do you really not know there's a difference? A person can be anti-Islam yet be best friends with a Muslim. Because a person is not usually just their religion. So I'm anti all religions, but that doesn't mean I hate the majority of my fellow Americans. (I hate them for other reasons.) And I certainly don't hate the majority of my friends.

And hate is not always the right word. The feeling is usually secondary. The thinking comes first. I first condemn all religions for intellectual reasons. Then I might also hate them or not. So I condemn Islam. But I don't condemn Muslims. And if I also hated Islam, I still wouldn't hate Muslims. I might condemn and/or hate all fanatic, extremist Muslims, as do many Muslims themselves, but that's not a blanket hatred of Muslims. Plus there are no Muslims. That's a made-up category. There are people with Muslim beliefs. We condemn the beliefs and not the people. And if some Muslims feel, well, you condemn my religion, you condemn me, then that's on them and another good reason to condemn their religion or understanding of it.

Youre claiming that hating islam is not hating muslims. Well you can be right about it, theoretically parhaps, and maybe here on this board. But in real life the line that separates the hate for islam from the hate for muslim isnt around as clearly as it is in your head. Because islam doesnt surround you in a physical form in real life. That means that as soon as people start to express their hatred for islam, 9 out of 10 times they end up targeting islam representatives...And that would be the mosques, muslims, Marocs etc etc.

Just an example...Geert Wilders claims to have no problems with muslims, just with islam because its a very dangerous religion, its backwards blabla etc etc. So he wants to protect people like Duke and Chronical from the islam tsunami that threatens them to take over the Netherlands. To achieve this he wants to stop muslim immigration. Strange plans huh for someone who claims te have no problem with muslims.

Let's be honest - all "holy books" I'm aware of are just full of fables. No translation would help them. However they are worth reading in their own way. If you read and believe that there was a prophet super-human with supernatural powers who was so cool that you should not spell his name or you'll get punished by eternal flames of hell then you're pretty silly.

I don't care enough to name the parts I agree or disagree with, same with the bible. I bought a translated copy, I dunno who the translator was. The book itself is in storage with all my other books. I don't have room for the ones I have read, currently.

Nah. I agree with you that is not always like that in real life. But that doesnt count for the almost all the statements on this board. There's a wide acceptance of islam/muslim hate on this board. If youre in the middle of it, like most of you are, you'd probably have no clue 'cause you would be not able to see it. Me on the other hand, i havent been on this site for a couple of years. The last time i visited this site on a daily base must have been right around the time you got hated on for always posting the smiley in your posts. So im noticing the hate that slipped into the member's heads.

You see what you WANT to see. You apparently want to be the picked on kid so you choose to see that.

The muslim girl story was a personal story posted by a member. People say "fuck her" and some atheists, including me, said "fuck her religion". Now, my specific hatred for Islam, while it burns proud and strong and with unyielding flame, is not bigger than my hatred for Judaism or Christianity. I have explained this many times. There is no specific hate for you there. I am very sorry to disappoint you.

The reason no one creamed all over your flamey-mosque list is because 1.) It was kinda off-topic and 2.) With your unrational posts, abrasive behaviour, unfounded insults and total self-righteousness you've already alienated any other posters in WoW.

This is not because you're a muslim or giving some push against the prevailing atheist mindset on here, no. It's because you're an asshole that misreads people's posts, twists their words and insults them. That's why people don't like you. It has very little to do with your faith.

Although I would not be the least bit surprised if you managed to turn this into a "you hate cos i'm a poor wittle muslim" thing.
