The Chargers are not a road team this year. Since the pre-season, we have had like 8 games, and the majority have been road. We only got 2 road games in our whole schedule ahead. We will come back.

They also are dealing with a few injuries, and our #1 WR is still holding out. (Vincent Jackson).
We had Gates injured the whole second half. As well as our new #1 and #2 WR. We had NO offense. We signed a guy off the practice squad this week that was running routes as our #2, hahaha.

Still, we are #1 in Offense, and #2 in Defense, and as long as Philip Rivers stays up, we are an elite team, no doubt in my mind.

We always start 2-2, or 2-3. I'm looking forward to a winning streak, and yes, against the pats.

I didn't see the Denver game, but I don't think they were capable of beating the Jets, no offence.

SHOUT OUT TO 49ers for winning a game! hahaha
Didn't think they'd pull it off.

Funny fact:

NO AFC West team won this week.

did u expect anything less? from CJ>?

very pissed my falcons lost...
Michael turner is really pissing me off.... he's looking like he fell off like brandon jacobs

^that's why I think the Chargers GM got rid of him and kept an older Tomlinson.
Hell, look at Frank Gore? Dude has an EMPTY tank, in my opinion.

Running Backs in the league that are a bruising back don't last long in the NFL. They are cut short in years by 2-3 compared to the speedy/elusive backs.

If I was a GM i wouldn't pay top $ for a bruising back, just draft them in the lower rounds and send them away after a few years to let someone else pay top $ for them when they only have a few years left. It's harsh, I know, but as a GM, I'd have to have interest for the team...and it's not like they wont get paid anyway.

What's an avg running backs years in the league anyway? Like 6 right?

Greats last like 8-9.
Legends last longer.
Elusive 7-8.
Bruising 4-5

My Jets had no business beating the Broncos. We played like garbage. But that's what great teams do: they win the games they shouldn't win. And the Jets are the best team in the NFL. You can say it's the Steelers or the Ravens, and in the fullness of the season we'll all find out. But it's very reasonable to say right now that the Jets are the best team in the NFL.

5-1, heading into the bye week. Yes sir.

"great teams win games they shouldn't"

I'm really rusty with my picks this year. i usually get 1-2 wrong.
I need to go study to make me some money. I'm a bit broke...

Lmfao. There is no "best team in the NFL" this season. Every team seems to be a contender.

However, I can say i was SHOCKED to see the Jets get shut out. Assholes, if they had won, i would have an extra $80 in my pocket right now.

I'm glad that my Chargers won against a 5-2 team, with their top 4 WR's out. We SHUT DOWN Chris Johnson to 56 yards, and one, being a 30 yard run with a block in the back that wasn't even called. smh.

wtf is up with the redskins?
Why take out your #1 QB (donovan mcnabb) in favor of rex grossman?

That has to be the dumbest shit i've ever seen by a headcoach, in a LONG time.

^True.

I got to look at his numbers. I kept him all season with his injured ass.

Gotta love fantasy.

I got like 100 pts right now on my team, to the guys 50 pts, and I still need Arian Foster and Andre Johnson to play.

RAPE.

I am winning by 2 points. But I still have Blair White, Gonzalez and Hart to play. I picked them up this week as I have my main WR's and QB on Byes. I picked up Stafford too. I dropped Brandon Tate though, and he got picked up... :( 14 team league. It is tough.

I'm looking for that one dominant NFL team. Could it be the Giants? We're in week nine and the best odds any team has to win the Super Bowl are 7-1. The Jets have definitely hit the skids. Three terribly played games in a row. Remarkably they've won two of them. The AFC is going to flip flop a lot in the next eight weeks.

I don't know. I never really go with the Giants. Eli (their supposed leader) isn't a great QB. I feel like they carry him if he doesn't mess up. In the playoffs, its harder to do that. (Yes, I know they won not long ago against the perfect season patriots, but i just don't see it).

I'm still pulling for the Saints over there. If Drew keeps his head in the games, they will win. I think the times they lost, he had family things going on. (New born, etc).

and also Greenbay and Phili.

Only if Greenbay stays playing like lately, and Phili has Vick healthy.

I think injuries are taking a toll on a lot of teams this season. Injuries from last year, affecting this year, plus the new injuries this year.

Baltimore will make playoffs, Steelers, NE, INdi, Chargers if they keep it up and finally get healthy Bye week

....Just about the same story in AFC minus Bengals.

I don't know if agree with you about Eli. He may be great. If he isn't, he's very good. He does have a very talented young group of receivers, but I like the way he throws the ball. A bunch of his interceptions this year have been tipped balls that just ended up in the wrong hands.

Career: 142 TDs, 99 INTs. Not bad. Last year: 27 TDs, 14 INTs. Quite good. All you can ask from anyone not named Brady or Peyton.

Stafford was looking like he could be a great until he done his shoulder. Also been impressed with Flacco... They are future stars...

Vick is mental. How many rushing yards did he get at the weekend... ? 94? lol

I guess I can agree. haha. I just feel that he can't do nothing without the right receievers, ala Sam Bradford, Philip Rivers, Aaron Rogers...

Stafford yah, I don't know about Flacco, i honestly haven't seen him play much.

Vick is insane.

I haven't seen much of Ben Roethlistberger, but has he fallen off?

I haven't heard anyone speak of him much.

Ben has been injured. He has played about 3 games this season. They haven't been spectacular but they've been decent. I am a big Flacco fan. I like the Ravens.
