Here's the thing though... you can't please anyone who plays MW2 multiplayer. Everyone hates a specific type of gameplay but it's all gameplay. They hate people who "camp", hate people that snipe, hate people that "noobtube", hate people that use double shotguns, hate people that "run around", hate people that knife. NO matter what you do in the game, people will complain and whine about it. If you suck they're pissed, if you do great they're pissed.. there is literally no winning. LOL You have to just turn your mic off and enjoy the game. Unless you're playing with people you know.

As you level up.. you unlock various kill streak rewards. So you pick your reward for "X" amount of kills and when you reach that amount of kills without a death.. you get the reward. You can also get a care package (at a 3 kill streak) which sometimes contains poo (ammo) and sometimes contains something great (chopper gunner).

Crackdown 2? I'm enjoying it. It's really similar to the other game though, but with a bit of a L4D feel to it. There are zombie/vamp hybrids that they call freaks that only come out at night. The city is the same but all in ruins for the most part. You should download and try the demo. It's free and it's the same as the game. You can even unlock gamer score points while playing. Graphics are much better. And there's an online multiplayer option for like team deathmatch. So far, i'm enjoying it a lot.

You should also try Left 4 Dead.. it's fun. You should be able to buy the first one from the market and download straight to your console for fairly cheap.

They do that on the 360 too... hook the console up to the PC and play with modded maps. There's the "god hack" where you never die. The "wall hack" where you can see through the walls, the "knife hack" where you knife someone from anywhere. It's why I quit playing, I hate that. Just play the frigging game. I wish they'd fix it.

Your level doesn't really show how good you are, anyone can get to level 70. There is a ratio called the kill / death ratio which gives you a figure based on your kills compared to your deaths. What the game should do is group people with similar ratio's together then you would be playing against people of the same ability.

Before they put in these servers that are based on location... you used to be placed with people that are of a similar ranking as you.. so if you were a no prestige level 30.. you'd play with other people in the same general level and prestige mode. But since they've changed it around based on location.. I play with people who are like tenth prestige all the time and get my ass handed to me. LOL Some of these jerks, well lots of these jerks are WAY to serious about the game.

They aren't much better.. but are better. It's probably not worth that amount. But I've been bored with the games I have TBH and figured I'd just grab it. It's fun so far so at least i'm not regretting the purchase.

fuck, my xbox got the 2 red rings today.

so overheating causes this. i dont see how its over-heating unless its because of dust or the fact that i have a sky plus box below it. I never had any problems with it before.

^It's happened to me twice.

Dust could be one factor as it prevents hot air from being blown out of your Xbox by the fan. The sky plus box below could also be a contributor although very marginally as the heat being dissipated from the sky box could of course be soaked up by your xbox.

Microsoft will fix it for free, it's just a bit of an inconveniece to be without your xbox for a week or two.

i disconnected it and cleaned up the stand it was on as well as the console. hopefully it doesnt happen again.

there was also games stacked up beside it. i moved them away.

Yea it could be a one off, although that happened to me. I got the red lights, panicked and turned it off. Went on it later again and it was fine....until about an hour later when it red lighted again and this time wouldn't turn back on. I also know somebody who hadn't played their xbox for 4 months, as soon as they turned it on, it red lighted and broke.

Weird. I haven't gotten red lights since the first system that I sent back and got a replacement for.

ok, the two red lights come on immediately after i turn it on today and the fan is awful loud. dont get how it can be overheating. it been off all night in a cool, well ventilated area like it had always been.

its out of warranty so it will cost be something like 100 euros to repair. maybe id be better off getting a new one.

Probably. The newer ones (xbox slim excluded) didn't run so hot. Or have any troubles with the red rings.

Geesh, that's crazy! LOL I don't know that i'll get all the orbs on any of the Crackdowns but i'll continue to try. lol.

I had zero trouble with my previous 360 elite. But the xbox slim runs REALLY hot. I don't put anything on it.. keep it on a cool surface and keep the room it's running in cool as well. I haven't had any trouble with it... i'm just worried that I will. lol
