Who here still plays sport in the spare time?

I know Bobby Sands does. He mentioned Astro Turf so I assume he plays some kind of 5-a-side footy... Powerleague?

I am old now. 30. So no longer play football. Too many injuries, especially at power league, them cages are barbaric.

I still box, but I've just given up sparring this week, and just go to my mates gym for some bag and pad work.

I run a few miles a week....

And I play quite a bit of golf.

Wondered what everyone else did? Or if you just sat on the internet all day? ;)

Try and play Tennis on most weekends with friends

Played indoor footy, but the pace was just too much for me, and I didn't like the whole 5 on 5 feel of it. I eventually switched to 11 on 11 outdoor games. This was a few years back, I'd like to go back, but you know how life is. You get busy with work, school, and juggling everything else so it's hard to fit it in. Especially here in Canada where you get only 4 months of actual nice sunshine.

I played handball in highschool for a year or 2. I always liked the sport. Also tried out racketball in CEGEP (that's after highschool here). If anyone hasn't played it, I suggest you do. It's fun beyond belief lol. It can ware you out though.

I wanted to take up Clay Pigeon Shooting after trying it on a Stag do. But I don't have the time. Is that a sport?

Depends how you look at it. Is bowling a sport? Some would consider it to be. So why not Clay Pigeon Shooting. lol

Im playing football since 91. Usually when the season has started three times a week plus the game on sunday. Pre-season will start next monday and then we will basically train every single day.

Besides that, yeah, i dont have much time left.

I play basketball and soccer when I can get enough friends to go out and play. I don't play anything organized with a schedule because I don't like to be tied down like that.

I played hockey from the the age of five until I was 18. Also during that time I played basketball, soccer, and volleyball. I had to give all of them up because they interefered with hockey :(. I always wanted to play football (american), I think I would've made one hell of a quarterback.

I played in a rec indoor soccer league when I was 18 and 19. Unfourtanetly we couldn't get enough people to pay on time this year. I bike to work whenever it is not raining and I go to the gym three times a week.

I kinda regret not being a Professional player
I used to play for the local team (Figueirense, Brazilian 1st division during 7 years, now 2nd) when I was 13, I did that during 4 years.
And now theres a couple of friends making serious money and we had the same level.

Anyway, I "kinda" regret cuz I'm making great money with my own wine store, so its ok.
