No place for him in our squad. Robben on the right, Ribery on the left. Im not saying Ribery is better than him but we already have him, so there is no point.

I really hope Mourinho gives him playing time.

Canales is good but do you expect Mourinho to play a 18 year old kid week in week out? Has he ever played teenagers in any of his squads? Ozil will play a lot if they play 4-3-3. Di Maria/Ronaldo/Higuain will be upfront with Xabi Alonso, Ozil and probably L.Diarra in the middle, or Khedira.

well he has played Balotelli alot. Santon too. and at Porto, Carlos Alberto was a regular in the team. pretty sure he was only a teenager back then.

but yea i couldnt see Canales playing every week.

whats the story with Lass Diarra? how is his illness going to affect him?

Santon wanted to leave due to lack of playing time, Balotelli was dropped more times than he played, I think Carlos Alberto was between 19-21. But Canales, I do rate him, but this is Real Madrid, you have a bad game and the fans want you out.

L.Diarra played for France v Norway I think? I'm not sure really. Where does Pedro Leon play? Winger?

You mean Madrid have a lot of players to fit into a first 11. Surely not.

Where does Kaka play when he returns?

Khedira on the bench? lol. Surely that wasn't discussed when he was signing?

Well, the back 5 are pretty much settled Casillas, Sergio Ramos, Pepe, Carvalho (Raul Albiol is out for awhile) and Arbeloa.

Khedira/Gago/L.Diarra/Xabi Alonso will vy for the two holding midfield type roles. Players play 60 games per season they all will play enough. Gago will probably be the least played midfielder. Granero will probably play also, with the other Diarra being sold.

Then you have Ozil/Canales/Kaka/VDV for the attacking midfield role, Kaka is out for awhile and I fear he won't play for much longer due to his constant injuries, Canales will be an impact player, VDV will probably be sold. Leaving Ozil in that role. Kaka doesn't deserve to be in the side anyway, his constant injuries have limited his play hence his average past two seasons at Milan and Madrid.

Upfront, Ronaldo/Di Maria on the wings with either Benzema and Higuain upfront. They might even play Benzema on the wing like he did at times for Lyon. Pedro Leon will also play on the wings it seems. But that isn't a problem as Barca have to fit in Messi/Pedro/Villa/Zlatan/Bojan in their attack somehow.

I don't see it being a big problem. Real Madrid have needed strength in depth and they finally have it, look at Barca, if they get midfield injuries, who are the replacements? They can cope upfront, but Iniesta/Xavi/Busquets/Keita is all they have for midfield. Probably the younger players will be called upon as they do every year.

Aquilani to Juventus on loan with the option to make it permanent next summer.

^^well he is going now. so i dont think he will play anymore games.

and i mean flop in the sense of what he cost Liverpool and the fact he has hardly played.

i thought the end of last season was a taste of things to come. he had something like 6 assists and two goals in only a few games so i thought there was a chance he would carry on the same way this season. im not sure if we should be loaning him out. you dont know whats going on behind the scenes though.

^^how so?

he was injured most of the season. and then when he was back from that injuty he started getting these viruses which meant he missed more games. Rafa played him in a lot of games towards the end of the season.

but Rafa did make a big mistake by buying an injured player for nearly 20 million in the first place.

20M for an injured player might've been a mistake, but it's even a bigger mistake to waste a possibly invaluable acquisition like that by loaning him out immediately after a season where he barely had a chance to prove himself.

Thought of the day management. I so hate it.
