Android watch out! Lets see how big the leap is, ay?
How the multitasking is handled will be interesting. People want it, but people also want the battery to last. Supposedly, three versions of the OS is floating around. I'm not sure what that means. One for 3G, one for 3Gs and another for iPad or next iPhone? Multitasking on jailbroken iPhones seems to be inconsistent. My iPhone is jailed so I can't say for sure but some people claim sluggish performance and others say it's fine. Obviously, this event is a preparation for the next iPhone update in June/July. That brings up another point - possibly two iPhones are on the way. Would that explain the different versions? Or are they for optimizing the OS for the spec difference? Because you best believe Apple is going for the faster custom chip in the next iPhone update which would allow for better multitasking. Will the tasks be limited on older model iPhones? Hmmmm
480x320 is looking mighty old with all those purrdy Android phones running around. How will the screen resolution be handled? How will the older apps be handled once the iPhone shifts to a bigger resolution? The upscaling on the iPad leaves room for improvement. Hmmm
Time to set Android back a year or two again! (trying not to overhype but I had to say that)
Spring is in the air my friends, the spring is in the air.
