List all the games you have and your top 5 from them. The games i have on XBox 360:

Viva Pinata
Forza Motorsport 2
The Ultimate Sega Genesis Collection
Gears Of War
Halo 3
Mass Effect
Bioshock
GTA IV
GTA IV-Episodes from Liberty City
Elders Scrolls IV-Oblivion
Fallout 3
FIFA 09
FIFA 10
Pro Evolution 2008
Pro Evolution 2009
Dead Rising
Far Cry 2
THe Orange Box
Call of Duty 3
Call Of Duty 4-Modern Warfare
Call Of Duty-Modern Warfare 2
Batman-Arkham Asylum
Dead Space
Virtua Fighter 4

i havent played through Fallout 3 yet nor have i played a whole lot of Oblivion, so they might make my top 5 if i ever get through them. Someone took Gears of War just as i was getting into it as well.

Out of those, my top 5 would be:

5: Call Of Duty 4 Modern Warfare: Maybe a little overrated but still a fantastic game nonetheless. Online multiplayer is great. I dont agree that the campaign mode was too short either. I havent played through Modern Warfare 2 yet so i dont know if thats better or worse.

4: Batman Arkham Asylum- Im not even halfway through the game yet but i love it so far. Ive always like Batman games and this is probably the best one ive ever played. Its a very enjoyable game. I havent really got time to play it at the moment but i want to.

3: Mass Effect-
A great game. really enjoyed playing it. Nice entertaining storyline and i liked how the different choices you make during the game affect how things play out. Its a game that you want to go back and replay multiple times. It isnt perfect though. my main gripes were with the repetitive and boring side missions, driving the Mako and the fact that the only gun you need during the game is the assault rifle. The sniper rifle especially had little or no use in the game.

2: The Orange Box- 5 great games in one. I love Portal and Team Fortress 2 is a fun game to play but The Half Life 2 series is one of my favourite games of all time. i had never played half life 2 on PC before i got this but i knew that it was considered one of the best games ever. it didnt disappoint me. Fantastic storyline with amazing characters like Alyx Vance, Eli, the G-Man and the Vortigaunts in Episode 2. An enthralling and gripping game with a sad ending to episode 2 :( cannot wait for Episode 3.

i love this part in episode 2 (SPOILER ALERT):

1. GTA IV- Id even argue that this is the best video game ever created. Its an absolute masterpiece from every point ot view and deserved the high scores it got. The game is visually stunning. One of the best if not the best looking game on XBox 360. Everything looks realistic, from the water to the cars. Despite this and the vastness of Liberty City the game runs so smoothly with little or no slowdown or glitching. The main storyline is excellent. Your choices influence how storyline works out. Then there is all the side missions. The game is just huge.
The characters as in every GTA game are great. Niko,Roman, Brucie, Packie and Jacob are all memorable. The combat system is really good as well. you have to use cover, shoot around corners and all that. Then there is the fact that there is so much to do in Liberty City. The city they created here is stunning. i never get sick of driving around in it. Everything is just so realistic. People go flying like rag dolls when you knock them down in a car. If you hit a barrier at speed, Niko goes flying out the windscreen. These are small things that highlight how realistic this game is.
So when they put together this amazing single player experience, Rockstar could have just said fuck it, thats enough. But they also put together a great multiplayer experience as well. I think this was the first time that there was online multiplayer in a GTA game and it is absolutely brilliant imo. loads of different modes available and there is so much fun to have while playing over xbox live. Then there is the additional content for Xbox 360 to keep you going.

I have played alot of games over the years, and for me, this is the best, taking everything into consideration.

Wow....you have a fair few games.

"Shenmue" is still the best video game ever made for me. But since that's from the previous generation.....I guess it doesn't really belong in this thread.

I have a Wii right now, but I don't have a lot of games for it. I have:

Wii Sports
Wii Play
Super Mario Kart Wii
Sonic Unleashed
Tony Hawk's Proving Ground
Super Smash Bros Wii

I think that's it. I rarely play the Wii TBH, I don't get much time to. Of the games I have, I've played Mario Kart and Wii Sports the most.

I think in terms in sheer fun....the best game I have played from the current generation of consoles, is easily Rock Band. I don't have it but my cousin does and we always rock out at his place with my nephew and niece. That shit is so much fucking fun. I like the drums the most, but I scored 100% doing the vocals for "Testify" by RATM one time.

^^i actually forgot about Bioshock. not sure if i would have it in my top 5 but it is a very good game. The game looks great. The storyline is good but towards the end of it was a bit disappointing. Plasmids were cool to use but the guns were shit. no online multiplayer either. I didnt like how the splicers kept shouting the exact same things thoughout the game.

Quite hard to say but my favorites would probably be:

1. Shenmue - Though it's a xbox game I still play it on my xbox360. Yeah I think I don't have to say again how I think it's the best game ever made. Epic.

2. C&C 3 - I just love Command & Conquer series and it was superior to Red Alert 3 which in fact didn't really feel like a C&C game unfortunately. Actually Red Alert 1 was my favorite game from these series and while I used to play it on my PC and PSX it's too old to list here, isn't it? I wish they made a Red Alert 1 remake.

3. Yakuza 3 - I played it only once and I can honestly say that it's the biggest reason I regret not having a PS3

4. Gta 4 - Though I got bored of it and don't play it anymore. Add-ons were fun for a few hours and then made the game even more boring - same city, same graphics and same vibe. Only new missions which actually failed to make the game any more fresh (since missions are not a no1 thing making that game what it is actually).
I'm waiting for GTA5 now and I hope it'll take place either in vice city or san andreas and has as awesome vibe as "add-ons" to gta3 :p

5. Age of empires 3 with add ons - It's not a great game but I really like it and play it a lot on my PC.

I think I'm going to get an xbox360 so I can play Shenmue 2 on it. My original xbox's DVD drive broke.

Is there any way I can get my save data off the original xbox?

I liked that the guns weren't overly powerful and the carrying capacity for ammo was low. Made the game a lot more challenging me thinks. I didn't even notice the splicer thing to be honest lol.

GTA 4 had little replay value for me. I prefer San Andreas. I've been on my console since November.
I played GTA 3 on my pc when i was 13. Ever since then I've never been able to get back into a gta game. They're all the exact same thing just with updated graphics, imo. Once the novelty of being able to go on a killing spree throughout an entire city wore off it became a snooze fest.

i dont agree with this or that the game has no replay value. This game is streets ahead of the rest of the GTA games. I actually shared your opinion before GTA IV was released. I have been playing this game since the day it was released and im not sick of it yet. But i can understand that you may not like sandbox type games.

unfortunately I don't think there's a way.

My original xbox hdd broke and so the console refused to start and I sold it as soon as I got myself a 360 which plays shenmue 2. Well, it doesn't feel as good as it did on the original Xbox but it's not bad either.

GTA4 is a great game but it doesn't feel fresh anymore and it doesn't have that vibe and that "awesomeness" factor that Vice city and San Andreas had. The way cops will chase you for the slightest thing until you escape a specific radius made it stupid for me. You can't buy properties, can't go to the gym and everything is so grey, the driving system kind of sucks and you can't learn martial arts which means the fighting system sort of limited. But I love how realistic it gets with shooting for example. The way you can damage your car and kill someone in a vehicle was amazing.

What do you mean by "it doesn't feel as good"?

Because it's emulated. It doesn't feel as bad as playing a psx game on a pc emulator but you can somehow feel that you're not playing it on its native console.
Also if you have a widescreen hd tv the effect kind of sucks since game takes place in a small window with black stripes on all sides.

I agree. The constant friend thing was annoying also. I just miss C.J from San Andreas :(

I actually fixed my PS2 to play San Andreas again and I still love it.

i cant understand how you could say San Andreas is better than GTA IV. i loaded on San Andreas a few weeks ago and i quit playing it after about an hour. GTA IV was just a huge improvement on this game. The graphics and visuals are just far superior. but to each his own.

what would be cool though is if Rockstar returned to San Andreas with the next GTA game. that would be pretty amazing i reckon.

The graphics on GTA IV are awesome, fantastic. But that isn't what GTA was ever about. The gameplay was the main department they focused on from the first ever one to this one.

I could never get bored of the cities in San Andreas, I still would find stuff a year down the line. where as IV it all looks the same, the cities don't really differ much and its quite boring.

The little things like gambling, gym, basketball, haircuts, better choice of clothes make a big difference.

GTA IV is a good game, I loved playing it, but after I completed the game, I didn't really want to play it anymore.

^^well imo the realism of GTA IV makes the gameplay superior to any of the rest of them if you understand what i mean. Basic things like knocking people down or blowing shit up is much more fun.
