Unlucky? They weren't good enough tonight. Simple. Yes theyve been playing well and they can go home with pride, but they caught England and Argentina on total offdays. It's not like they demolished two footballing powerhouses, it was more like a grown man beating up a 13 yr old kid.

New world champions then.

Unlucky Germany, been the best team to watch at this tournament.
I don't think they were the best though but that's quite usual for them. They're usually just above average but their organization and strategy are great. At least until they're tired and start failing.
That's why they're getting that high in the World cup.

Here they got absolutely pwned. Spain was definitely dominating them in the second half and at some point they just had to score. To be honest though I don't think they deserved the final.

what a great header by Puyol. what a man.

should have been more though. Spain gave Germany a bit of a lesson tonight.

Iniesta was great too.

and Pedro should have set Torres up. very selfish.

Del Bosque should flog Pedro for that, lmao. Horrible.

Played a good match otherwise, though. Really nimble on his feet. Ramos played well too. Iniesta, Alonso. Spain really functioned as a team tonight.

there is a pundit here that keeps on criticising Puyol.

it really baffles me. the guy has won the Champions League twice, numerous la ligas, European Championships and has now given an immense display to get his country to the World Cup final.

I didn't mean they were unlucky not to go through tonight. They've played the most attractive football in this tournament and it's a shame to see them out.

Spain. What a team, what a performance. UNBELIEVABLE!!
Did we watch the same game? They were decent, at times good, but ''UNVELIEVABLE!!''??

They can play a lot better than that.

Wonder if we'll get another suspiciously gay photograph of him throwing up the finger or in this case throwing himself of a roof.

you do have a point. they did play well but failed to make to make the most of their possession and the goal came in a way that you might not have expected. a corner kick and a great header from that legend Puyol.

As Duke pretty much said though, they hadn't played a good team who didn't roll over and die until they played Spain tonight.

Germany were always going to be chasing shadows though, especially with Xavi, Iniesta and Alonso working in tandem.
