That was one of the dirtiest games I have ever seen. Serbia dropped at EVERY challenge and the ref fell for it. It's almost as if they lost against Spain there! (The ref was Spanish). That hand ball just showed how they wanted to bend the rules, then the end? The dude kicked the German player and dropped and acted like he was hurt? WHAT THE FUCK?! YOU JUST KICKED SOMEONE! Terrible.
Ref certainly wasn't brilliant but you're way exxagerating.

Not to mention their shitty "lets drop 9 men back into the box" style of defending. Dirty dirty dirty football. I dont know how Serbia can be proud of that win.
Rubbish.

Rukas said:
Klose did not deserve the red either, nor did he deserve either of the two yellows.
Only sensible sentence in this post.

Totally bullshit game that illustrated everything that can be wrong with football; bad referees, dives and time wasting.
Rubbish v2.0

When to players decide when to use blades or studs?

Wow, how could Podolski miss such a crucial penalty? He had a chance to earn his side a draw against the odds. The handball by Vidic was ridiculous as well. When I saw him flying through the air, I was wondering what he was up to. Only realize that it was a comical handball. He better not try that tactic with United next season. How lucky the keeper bailed him out. Still funny how a team's defenders commits two deliberate handballs two games in a row.

I was glad to finally see a pure shot go into the goal. I guess players just have to get used to the ball, as Birsa showed what can be done if you just stop whining about it. Good comeback for the USA. I didn't get what the foul was when the USA had their goal disallowed. Did anyone see what the foul was?

Nah i was wondering about that as well. I heard the whistle before the goal fell, so its logical it doesnt count, but I have no clue what he called.

Looking back on it and getting a few replays, if anything the Americans were fouled there. Bradley and Altidore were bearhugged, lol.

Well, England are struggling. A few shots from distance but that's it. Algeria trying to break away when given the chance. Definitely not brilliant from them so far but a lot better than their first match against the Slovenians.

There's little congeniality between the midfield and the strikers. We need to get Rooney into the game, he's becoming increasingly isolated and resorting to falling back to midlfield to get the ball.

One thing stood out for me: They showed the line-ups prior to the game (duh) and it showed Heskey as a deep striker and Roons behind him. But during the match, I once saw Heskey winning back a ball around the 20 yard line on his own half. lol?

Also, the English midfield confuses me. Barry and Lampard central, with Lennon on one wing and Gerrard a bit "hanging" on the left wing? Looked odd.

And yes, like 2Pax said, there's no click with the midfield and the strikers. No link-up. Which is remarkable really, given the quality of players like Lampard and Gerrard.

We should have a middle three of Gerrard, Barry and Lampard with Joe Cole and Lennon just flanking so it's almost like a midfield five, with Rooney up top. Heskey isn't good enough to be starting either.

Looks like Carragher is out for the next game.

I have to admit, Algeria is impressing me. They're not playing Samba like football, but they're going forward without fear and taking chances. They just can't seem to finish. (loving Ziani at the moment lol)

I saw the starting line-up and I was as confused as you guys... Heskey deep striker with Roon right behind him? That was a wtf situation... Play Rooney alone up front, or shit... Give Dafoe a go, he's quicker and is better on the ball in comparison to Heskey

Also, if you should all know, Algeria are playing their 3rd string keeper. lol.

Anyways... England look lethargic all around, I don't see no killer instinct to prove that the USA match was just a fluke. In the first half when Gerrard lost the ball, and then had no fight to regain possession (he was fucking walking away from it), that sums up England's attitude at the moment.

Did Joe Cole sleep with someones wife? :wondering:

England are god awful. I wonder why Gerrard/Lampard/Rooney can't replicate their club form for England

Heskey off - Dafoe on.

The Algerian defense is working great together on these chances England get. It's like they're all in sync with 1 mind. lol
