Well, well, well. Surprise. Surprise. Spain loses at a major tournament. Why anyone thought they would win this World Cup due to their win at the Euro Cup is beyond me. They are total hacks at the WC. Anytime they actually have to play for something they get incredibly anxious and nervous. This has been the case for a long, long time.
I never said Portugal was a great team who were gonna win it all. I just barrack for them because they're my team. And in a previous post AIMED AT YOU I even stated why Portugal, Spain & Netherlands won't win. Because they are mentally weak at these sort of tournaments. One win in Euro doesn't mean shit. Greece beat Portugal then failed to even qualify for the 2006 World Cup.
Suggesting Spain were favorites due to a performance 2 years ago is lame. On recent performances they beat out under-achieving teams. At the Confederates Cup they lost their golden run to the USA out of all teams.
I can see you're clearly still angry at the world because Ireland aren't there. They're not there because their defence is rubbish, Henry hand ball or not. Keane was right about your national team.

Argentina 3 - 0 Korea, with two of the goals falling late.
Greece 1 - 2, with Greece scoring on a penalty (they can't any other way)
France 2 - 2 Mexico, this is more a hope-guess rather than an edumacatory guesstimate, but ok.

no, you dismissed their achievement of winning that competition. at least they won it anyway and didnt bottle it like Portugal in 2004. why did your bring that up anyway? still angry over it?
O Shea and Dunne are rubbish are they? O Shea is a first team player at Man Utd. Dunne was voted in the premier league team of the season. you havent a clue what you are talking about.
but i know you were happy to see the great display of cheating from the French. thats what you Portuguese love to see. Keeping the ball in play with your hand is acceptable for you guys so you dont see anything wrong with that or with constant diving, and trying to get opponents sent off.
i remember ye were crying in 2000 when Xavier clearly handballed that shot against France in the last minute of the semi final i. ye were going on about a conspiracy and all that shite.
i actually agree with your point about the defending and that handball incident not being the only reason we got beat believe it or not.
