why couldnt they ban those stupid fucking trumpets.

how can you watch a football match if your blowing into a trumpet for all of it. Its gonna be very hard to watch the games with that noise. Im all for creating a good atmosphere but these dont achieve that at all.

so what young players do you think will make a name for themselves at the World Cup then?

i reckon Mesut Ozil is a player that could really announce himself at this WC. Marin also perhaps.

Pastore for Argentina looks a very exciting player as well.

Luis Fabiano is not young but i think that he will raise his profile at this WC. contender for the golden boot imo

Kjaer and that other kid for Denmark perhaps. cant think of his name right now but has been labled the new Laudrup.

Suarez for Uruguay

Hamsik for Slovakia or even Weiss.

this Jong T.S fella for North Korea might cause a stir as well.

In Robben's absense Elia or Affellay perhaps?

For the Danes, you mean Eriksen? Plays for Ajax, only 18 but fuck he can play.

Ozil, Hamsik.

I don't see Elia getting much play time. Afellay worked well in practice with Persie.

BUT! Good news from the Robben front. He has a tiny tear in his hamstring but they're thinking they'll be able to get him fit to partake. He might not make the first or first two group matches, but that doesn't matter.

Milner will definitely shine and be one of england's best players if he plays much. i think crouch will get a few important goals and ledley king will be solid at the back (if he plays much).

Argentina will do much better in the world cup than the qualifiers, Messi being the main man getting the majority of the goals.

Portugal or Brazil wont make it past the second round.

Luca Toni wont score many goals.

England to go out in the second round or quarter finals on penalties with headless chicken SWP who was brought on as an extra time sub blasting the decisive penalty over the bar.

The trumpets are tight lol

I hope the US beats England, that would be great. I'm so upset Jozy got injured, I hope he's fit for the game. I've been telling all my non watching soccer friends to watch for him, I hope he has sort of a break out World Cup.

Why won't Portugal make it past the 2nd round? They have got just as good of a team as all the other heavy weights. Nani is out but almost all nations have lost a player or 2 due to injury for this tournament.

It'd be funny if they do though. I'd be giving 7Syns shit until the cows come home!!. haha

Also friendlies last night were played.

Spain 6-0 Poland
Portugal 3-0 Mozambique.
Ivory Coast 1-1 Lausanne (from the SWISS 2nd Division!!!!!!)

lol @ England will go out and it won't be their fault.

It will be Chris Waddle.

Or Diego Pablo Simeone.

Or Darius Vassell.

Or that referee who disallowed a Sol Campbell header.

Or David Batty.

Or Cristiano Ronaldo winking at the referee.

Or the Hand of God.

Or Gareth Southgate.

Or Ronaldinho scoring a fluke accidental free kick.

But never because they were beaten fair and square.
