Pranjic is a class player. Maybe he doesn't fit in the Bayern system that well (yet?) but he should've been a reinforcement.

Braafheid has potential but I've always said that the step might've been too big for him at this moment. He's a good defender (better than Lahm :p) but pretty useless on the ball.

Then you, sir, are an idiot. He's been absolute class for Heerenveen for years and he's a regular in the Croatian national team.

He hasn't been playing his natural position in Croatia, cause Bilic was a moron, except when we beat England at Wembly, who eventually set up Petric's goal for the winner. Bilic will play him in his usual role now though, since we have a few replacements for LB.
He did well in our last friendly, good pace.

He should have went to Spain when he had the chance though, suits more that style.

@ Seb.exactly what i was thinking.

Pranjic is a decent player but nothing more imo. Its all well and good being "class" for Heerenveen in the Eridivisie but we are discussing the player in relation to Bayern Munich and the higher level they play at i.e Champions League. He was 27 when he moved to Bayern which makes me wonder why he didnt move to a bigger league or club earlier in his career

I reckon Bayern signed him as a back up player though. im not sure, but i dont think he would play if Robben and Ribery are fully fit?

He was supposed to move to Sevilla when he was 25. Heerenveen kept a hold of him and boosted up his price tag, and it shoo'd away all the fuss. They were asking like 14 MIL or something. Sevilla were still interested the year after, but then after told Heerenveen to fuck off.

I remember it almost being a done deal at one point, then it all went to shit.

I find it funny that Olic has been saving Bayern's ass as of late. lol

Nah, he wouldnt. However, both fit at the same time wont happen so often so thats nothing he has to worry about.

Actually, if both are fit, i dont know how Van Gaal would let the team play.

He was on the bench last night.
On a bench in munich city maybe, but not on the bench at the stadium in Turin.

Van Buyten had a great game,.
