Inter Milan have been shit for the longest time when it's the CL. Serie A is crap in general.
Only a few teams are really capable of taking on other European powerhouses, and you'd think Inter would be one of them.

^^i dont agree

Fiorentina just knocked out Liverpool. AC Milan beat Real Madrid in the Bernabeu and should also have won at the the San Siro. Juventus are doing ok. Inter arent out yet.

I think AC Milan will go far in it. Might even be a decent bet to win it, if they get out of their group.

why not? Look at the players they have. They have won it before. 7 times for your information.

look maybe they wont win it but i think they'll do pretty well if they come out of the group which they might not do.

think about it. You might be able to make sense of that :)

I don't expect much from AC Milan and their team of geezers.

Juventus and Fiorentina are part of the few I think can upset bigger teams. I would have liked to have seen Sampdoria in the competition. They're quite exciting to watch when I get a chance to see them, that is.

Agreed. The Italians are doing better than any other league in the Champions League this season. Fiorentina (already through), Juventus, AC Milan could all be through by tomorrow and then Inter have to beat Rubin at home.

Inter can't adapt to CL football, they can beat AC Milan 4-0 in Serie A but they seem to have a mental block in the Champions League, Man Utd had this a few years ago when we finished bottom of our group :push:

I wouldn't totally be surprised if they win the Champions League, they are more suited to it than to win their domestic league, I don't think they will win it though.

^^exactly. they have a lot experienced players in their squad who love playing against the big teams in Europe. Players like Seedorf (a real big game player), Nesta(best central defender in the world imo), Pirlo (one of the best playmakers in the world and back to his best now after playing poorly for a while), Gattuso , Inzaghi, Ronaldinho etc.

They also have Pato. A player who i think could be a Messi or Ronaldo type player for them. This Thiago Silva looks a decent defender. Oddo, Ambrosini, Zambrotta are all Italian internationals. so is Borriello. They have players like Jankulovski, Flamini and Huntelaar on the bench as well. Of course they are good enough to win it.

They need to change the keeper though.

I haven't seen AC Milan recently, but Dida apparently has played quite well lol :wondering:

Pato will be awesome :thumb: The only thing that annoys me is their transfer policy is awful. Why buy Hunterlaar and barely give him a chance?

Still shouldve signed Cissakho

^^i only saw Dida play in both Champions League games against Real Madrid and he was awful. He was spilling nearly every shot. Not a reliable keeper imo. Maybe he was doing ok in serie a though.

im a big milan fan and got a season ticket. dida is shit and is our 3rd choice keeper. abbiati is our number 1 who was playin the best ever in his career b4 gettin injured durin last season for 6+ months, then we got storari who again was playin the best he's ever played an would hav challanged abbiati for the number 1 spot but he also got injured b4 the 1st real game :( so for keepers we're fine wen they return, storari has but dida will play tomorrow but he's leavin at the end of season thank fuck lol.

the main problen we got is the full bak area like thug style says we should av got cissokho. as for winnin CL never say never with us no1 expected 07 CL win even masel. this year i would bet on barca again but i would bet on us to go furthest out of the italians.

and thank fuck liverpool r out :D

yup our transfer policy is fucked cos of debt a mean we sell kaka and gourcuff earn 70 odd mill and can only sign hunter for 15. the money is the problem cos hunter was our 3rd choice, fabiano was 1st then dzeko who were both gonna cost 30 mill each but burlisconi acted like stingy cunt. hunter has had his chances, bori was out at the start of season so he got a few starts but they came wen we were shit and not playin as a team with no concrete system but bori is deservadly ahead of hunter now, he is 1 of the main guys that got us playin the way we r. i hope hunter comes good but he is similar to pippo who can still do it at his age so its gonna be hard for him.

Huntelaar is a good striker for a side that tends to dominate, because it gives him lot of ballcontacts in the box. There he is at his best.

exactly but thats why leonardo didnt want another box player cos he had pippo but cos we couldnt get fabiano or dzeko who can play with the ball, run about and link up but also score goals milan had to show they can still sign and keep the fans happy.

i'm sure he'll improve as milan hav improved greatly with a 9 or 10 match unbeaten run which includes only 2 draws

I was wondering what happened to Abbiati and i had noticed that Storari was first choice earlier this season. Didnt realise both were injured.

So you are a AC Milan fan? Sampdoria are my team in serie a but out of the bigger clubs AC Milan would be my favourite.
