Just because the us perceived them as a threat doesn't mean they really are. Saddam was a threat to his own people, not the American people. I have yet to see any proof that Saddam or anyone who had ties to him had any plans to attack America

well forgive me for being skeptical, but i don't really find any aspect of the American government (or most governments) to be trustworthy. How do we know that if and when that info comes out it won't be doctored or altered, or even falsified? As far as i'm concerned, with that many lives on the line (of both American and Iraqi lives) you should at least be able to show some evidence to back your claims. Don't forget, most of the intelligence the US had at the start of the war turned out to be false (cough*wmd's*cough). Go do your research and look up info about Dr.Khan and his connection Iran. Do your research man. On July 21, 1998 Iran with the help of Russian technicians tested their Shahab 3 prototype complete with a liquid-fueld engine designed by Russians. The CIA at that very time had said Iran was still 5-10 years away from developing medium range missiles capable of reaching Israel and would not capable of building a missile that could threaten the US before 2010. Well that was back in 1998. I research this shit. Go look it up, the even isnt disputed.they paraded the SHahab 3 missile around Tehran.. I could go on with more evidence when I have the time
