Not really what? If this in regards to your wording, check again. If not, inform me.

Again? No, that was once, this could be perceived as twice.

And I only have to make posts of any length because you can't be trusted to read between the lines.
you said you seem to hit a nerve on me ... so i replied saying no not really

hmmm ... let me see ... no ... not even close

point to note : your post count per day is very abnormal

EDIT: Seen the sun lately?
I was highlighting a freepost made by yourself after you attempted to take a shot at me for supposedly making a freepost - even though there was visible logic to both points I made in my post.

Now you are making this post for no reason. It holds no relevance here other than it is an instance of you avoiding the exposing of your IQ.

Now, unless you actually wish to discuss what I have questioned you upon, regarding the thread, we - note: both of us so you don't need to feel bad - will leave it. :thumb:

Well.. I won't say anything about the convo between Calc and Zimbabwe... that's between you guys :)

The only reason I DID watch wrestling was for the actual wrestling. Once all this gay ass storylines and soap operas began to unfold, I completely lost interest and respect for the whole of wrestling.

I was about watching some GOOD GOOD wrestling matches.... Watchin Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Diesel, Undertaker, Owen Hart, Razor Ramon etc... that was what it was all about.

Now.. it's all about horrible stories, same events happening over and over again.. seems like no one even watches it for the actual wrestling anymore.

Peace

here's a little hint

ITS CALLED SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT

its suppose to be fake. just like a movie is suppose to be fake,so is wrestling, they're not trying to fool anyone because they know everyone knows its fake. so i dont see your point.

I watch it beacuse i love everything about it, from the athleticism, the over the top theatrics, their dedication, the fact that they risk their lives to entertain.

Sure you can say that they never really get hurt, and yes they go out to entertain and not put their opponents in any harm. Yes its scripted and matches are somewhat pre planned. If thats reason for you to not watch it then I guess you can throw 99% of stuff thats on TV and in the cinemas right out the window cos that applies for hollywood too but you dont make any threads asking why people watch Star Wars because its all scripted the fights are staged and no one gets hurt. But theres a massive difference between the two. In hollywood, the guy you see fight is not the actor, the guy you see jump off a bridge is not the actor. In Wrestling they have one shot in front of a live audience. Now whats more fake there?

The top guys (wwe) go all year with no off season, on the road 250+ days a year away from their famillies. They work through injuries. When they get injured in a match they finsh the match. Triple H tore his quadricep off his thy during a match but still got up and finished the match, which included being put into a "Walls of Jericho" which incase u didnt know is were i guy puts u on ur back, grabs both ur legs, turns u over and sits down putting the focus on ur back and upper legs.

Stone Cold Steve Austin was dropped on his head, as a result he had to have neck surgery and was told to never wrestle again. He came back after the surgery and was more successful than ever. Unfortunatley he had to give up 2 years ago because the pain he was in was harming his quality of life.

Kurt Angle required neck surgery after an injury from the 1996 Olympics never healed. He was about to finally main event a Wrestlemania (which is what every wrestler aspires to) and decided to put off the surgery untill after Mania even though every bump he took carried a risk of paralysis. In the same match Brock Lesnar who weighs well over 300lbs, came crashin down on his head from over 10 feet in the air, and although he was concussed, finsihed the match.

An thats just the tip of the iceberg, to list everything would take a long time. But tell me anyother sport that has that kind of dedication where the match carries on with injuries and have no off season to recover.

But thats the major leagues, they are the lucky ones who make a living from it.

The guys who wrestle in front of 100 people in a sweaty gym for no pay off carry the same dedication and love for what they do. One of these wrestlers by the name of Dan 'Spider' Quirk died a couple of weeks ago when the full weight of his opponent sent him onto the concrete floor, banging his head and never waking up.
They go to work during the day then at night get their ass kicked for little reward.

And all that is not to mention the skills that it takes to be a good wrestler, have ring pshycology and tell a story in the ring, and put on a good show everynight.

So you can call wrestling what you want but Fake it is not. Its 100% real to me, every wrestler and every hardcore fan. And thats why the hell I love it!

Pro wrestling isnt fake. It's staged. Usually the guys go into the ring and make up what their going to do on the spot, unless they have an 'angle' to plan out for a money making match.

first off, each wrestler has to have athletic ability to work, a quick wit to talk (and entertain) and stay out of the hospital since they work nearly 300 days out of the year.

Wrestling has no off season. Even when the wrestlers have surgerys, injurys, marital problems, they work. can that be said about any other sport?

The difference between this entertainment and a real sport, is that a real sport has a competition, while wrestling champs are viewed by those that can make the most money.

Over all its entertainment for me, and you know that the move's are all pulled, yet they still manage to have some kind of impact ..if you jump off the top rope to land on a man, you really land on a man -only he's trained to catch and roll and brace himself yet still look like he's hurt...but at the end of the day everyone is healthy and doing fine..

star wars has made the most money this year for a franchise, yet no one complains that light sabers arent real, or the force doesnt work..

i used to be a wrestling fan. it used to interest me. there used to be substance with wrestling. i love the undertaker... i still glance at it every now and then - to see what the taker is doing these days. and i always order wrestlemania to see if taker is gonna win, other than that, i don't really care too much for it anymore.
