Lets go North Korea. YOU CAN DO IT!

As for England. We will do the normal, scrape wins, play really well and look like we are about to go to the Semi finals...panic...injury or sending off. Lose.

Come home. Blame everyone.

Any thoughts on the official match ball: Jabulani

The match ball for the 2010 FIFA World Cup will be named the "Jabulani", made by Adidas, which means "bringing joy to everyone" in isiZulu. The number eleven plays a prominent role in the the new technologically advanced ball: it is the eleventh World Cup match ball made by the German sports equipment maker; it features eleven colours, one for each player on the pitch; and there are eleven official languages of South Africa and eleven tribal communities. Also, the event will start on the eleventh day of June and end on the eleventh day of July.
By the way, Adidas say its the roundest football ever designed. Yeah, it sure looks its too :D

Holy crap lol

Here is the full squad Catalunya squad for the match grouped by the players’ club teams.
RCD Espanyol: Ferran Corominas, Joan Verdú, Moisés Hurtado
FC Barcelona: Víctor Valdés, Carles Puyol, Xavi Hernández, Gerard Piqué, Sergi Busquets, Bojan Krkic
Deportivo de La Coruña: Sergio González, Albert Lopo
Getafe: Jordi Codina
Valencia: Bruno Saltor
Sevilla: Fernando Navarro
Racing de Santander: Oscar Serrano
Real Betis: Sergio García
Villarreal: Joan Capdevila.
Arsenal: Francesc Fàbregas
Ajax: Oleguer Presas, Gabriel Garcia ‘Gabri’.
Their team would definitely be in the top 10... Knowing that Casillas would also play for them...

Yeah, I always wondered what a Catalunya squad would look like... Strong team.

You might be able to throw in Bojan Krkic also, his mother is Catalunyan.

Defenders: Corluka (Spurs, Croatia), Simunic (Hoffenheim, Croatia), Vidic (Man U, Serbia), Kolarov (Lazio, Serbia), Ivanovic (Chelsea, Serbia), Spahic (Montpellier, Bosnia), Srna (Shahktar, Croatia)

Midfielders: Ibricic (Hajduk, Bosnia), Modric (Spurs, Croatia), Kranjcar (Spurs, Croatia), Pjanic (Lyon, Bosnia), Jovetic (Fiorentina, Montenegro), Misimovic (Wolfsburg, Bosnia), Salihovic (Hoffenheim, Bosnia), Pranjic (Bayern, Croatia), Rakitic (Schalke, Croatia), Krasic (CSKA, Serbia), Tosic (Man U, Serbia), Kuzmanovic (Stuttgart, Serbia)

I didn't put Eduardo for obvious reasons, but he can be put in there if people want.

Those are just names off the top of my head, but we can probably fill up 2 teams if I sat down and remembered most players in domestic and abroad leagues. lol.

Yugoland would quality-wise be FILTHY strong.

Too bad you jerks had to go do your civil war thing. Thanks for robbing the rest of the world of some spectacle footy. Cunts.

lol @ Bobby for hating the French. All power to him.

lol @ Thuggy's prediction for the English (i'll bet a tenner it comes true)

cheers @ DPG for cheering for Orange :)

About the ball: From what i've heard, its even worse than the previous balls (EC2k8 and WC2k6). Horrible swerving thing. Keeper's nightmare.

btw, David, why'd you put Srna under defenders? I'd say he's an (attacking) midfielder.

He can play as a RB, and midfielder. At Shahktar he's a defender, and has been doing so for a while. Only with Croatia he is in the midfield.

There is a good chance now that in Croatia he'll be starting at a RB, and Corluka will be moved as a CB next to Big Joe Simunic. It's gonna be tested in a few friendlies.
