It isnt about who is the better player, its about who that player has around them. Suns Mavs would still be fine without their two. If Kobe Bryant did not play for the LA Lakers they wouldnt even make the 8th seed, in the East. That is why Kobe Bryant is the MVP of his team.

Stupid I know, I'm just going to be pissed if Nash wins it again. When will people realize it isnt very mush so the player but the system. Why couldnt Nash do this in Dallas, with Nowitzki on his team. Why can Barbosa come in and do practically the same thing, score more of course. Why is it that when San Antonio stayed on their men instead of collapsed on Nash when he drove he could do nothing but turn the ball over or throw up ill minded shots. Nash cant create for himself, cant play defense and is only successful cus of the system he is in, not cus he is a worthy player.

I agree that Nash shouldn't get it again and that he isn't all people crack him out to be. He's a smart player, a good shooter, and a solid passer. But, people have to understand, he has Marion and Stoudamire on his team. If he just throws the ball anywhere close to the basket, it's a guaranteed assist just because of stoudamire's and marion's athletic ability. Plus, the MVP would then imply that he's pretty much top 5 all time.

As far as MVP, i wouldn't give Kobe.Guy takes 3/4 of team shots and doesn't pass the ball much, of course he'll score a lot of points.

Actually kobe averaged a career high in assists this season. Secondly he only started doing all the scoring late in the season when his team wasnt responding like they did at the beginning of the year.

Nice thing is the MVP is based on playoff performance or else nash would have been the shoe in.

No he didn't.He averaged 5.4 apg this season.His best was 6.0 in 04/05.

Just want to add one thing, he would have more assists if teammates shot better every now and then, weren't so spotty or inconsistent.

Also this year he even said he shouldn't of made the all defensive team, it was just his name that won it. Now that isnt sayin he isnt deserving or a bad player on that end but he says he has done better.
