Not so.

Yes, during the Cold War the "Domino Theory" scared the US - just as the opposite version of it scared the Soviets - but since the end of the Cold War & the fall of the Soviet Union the "Domino Theory" doesn't really seem to concern the US. There is no Communist superpower to lead the charge & it's quite plain to see that such a theory, holds no weight anymore.
But the Soviets didn't try take over and attack any democratic nation like the US is doing.

Because communism isn't that strong anymore the US isn't concerned about it but they still do worry about it and imagine whats gonna happen when Castro dies, the US is probably gonna go over there and take over Cuba or they will try to Democratize it. If communism starts to spread again everyone knows damn well the US will be concerned.

BY THE WAY TODAY IS CHE GUEVARRA'S BIRTHDAY. (HE IS ACTUALLY ONE OF MY FRIENDS UNCLES) :thumb: :thumb:

RESIST THE OPPRESION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like the US is doing? Or like the US did?

Back then, the Soviets were just as bad as the Americans.
Obviously now the Soviets are a broken nation & don't even have the power to do what America is doing.

I never mentioned America's concern for a Communism as a whole, just one aspect of their thoughts about Communsim & that was in regards to the "Domino Theory".

Your post is very loosely based on the one you quoted & it really would be better if you read & understood what you were quoting so you responded appropriately.

And the oppression you speak of.....is this the same one which Cuba escapes everyday, highlighted by their healthcare & literacy programs?
