obviously there are people out there, even on this board, who actually give a fuck about this "problem". would you please read the replies made in this thread, then think about it...and THEN give your comment.
i can see not many people in here are christians. yes i now see that america doesn't care about what tha Bible says about things any more. you don't have to agree with me. it's just a sin to get married and to even have a relationship with someone of another sex. God said only a man and woman be married, you see bitches wanting to become guys, guys wanting to become bitches. shit is starting to go down hill real quick and people are gonna fall if they don't watch their step.

I concur While personally I find their behaviour a little sickening, they obviously deserve rights like those afforded to married couples, maybe not marriage per se but something along those lines.

A civil union (note not the same thing as marriage) or as they do in France, let them (be they gay or straight) sign a "PACS" (Pacte Civil de Solidarité). This affords the couple most of the trappings of marriage, inheritence rights etc. without the title of marriage being conferred on the relationship.

I agree, just thinking about it makes me wanna puke unless its a couple of lesbo bitches but each to there own, if they want to cement there relationship with marriage then let them get on with it.

C'mon, dude, what's this? Are you still living in the 1800's??
If your point is that marriage should be between a man and a woman and not anything else, then atheist couples getting married should be even more bothering to you, shouldn't it? They don't even believe! But they're allowed to get "married" all the same.

Most but not all? Why? What rights should a straight couple have that a gay couple shouldn't?
And if two gays aren't allowed to "marry" because they're sinners, shouldn't every straight couple who wants to marry be tested to make sure they're not sinners? I can guarantee you there would be very few marriages taking place. I'm an atheist, why am I allowed to marry in a church?

The principal rights I'm referring to is the conferring of the title of "marriage" on the relationship. Marriage is an institution held up by both Church and state as solely between a man and a woman, not only does it go against church scripture but from a social perspective would it really be a wise move to tamper with the long-held definition of marriage? Personally I think not.

i dont care .. lol
if someone wants to be gay... let him
why should a none-gay guy care if he wanna commit a "sin" or if he wanna be married? its not like YOU are gay... (or are you in denial lol)
so...
if ur not gay, dont touch this issue.... cuz it doesnt have anything to do with u
if u disagree with being gay... then thats ur opinion, dont opress that opinion to others because that is wrong also arcording to one of the books in the old testament (verse: line)
