Great goal.Who got it?Was Ryan Babel playing?and that young striker that plays for Liverpool?.Cant think of his name.

Bentley would have made a difference for England though. He is a quality player.

You would think that England would have learned how to hit penalties by now.

^ lol @ penalties reference.

Maceo Rigters scored the goal, Ryan Donk made the excellent cross header.

I don't know who you mean with Pool striker. Kuyt plays for Pool of course but he's way too old for U21 and a national squad regular.

And the English team didnt lack individual skill imo. From what I saw in their game against Serbia and also against Holland was a lack of tactics. Against Serbia they lacked a proper "plan of attack" and against us they started well (partially due to the Dutch started quite bad) but sort of panicked when they went 1 up. Everyone and their grandmother knows national Dutch squads are weak as fuck after a blow like that. They should've pressed on but they all held back. And while the Dutch can't defend proper, there's one thing you should never let us do and that's give us the space to exert pressure.

While Pearce may be a great character and a "wubly" man, I have my doubts about his football intelligence.
