Kahn is annoying though. He looks older than my father. He looks scary in that goalie and makes game look boring.

As you know Poland lately have been making some noise. Just imagine how great their squad would be if Podolski and Klose didn't became German citizens and were in Poland squad.
Kahn was a great keeper though. He is getting on a bit now and isnt at the same level as he was before.

As for Poland, i have no reason to believe that they wont fail like they did at the last 2 World Cups. They have nothing special in their squad.Boruc is a good keeper but they have fuck all else to get excited about.

So I shouldn't have been so surprised by those two games results huh

I don't follow Russian Premier League so I dont know much about Zenit as a team.

But Its just amazing Bayern have all these great players Podolski, Klose, Ribery, Shewizneger (however you spell him), Ze Roberto and Luca Toni and they are competing in UEFA. You want them to be on top in CL and shit so you can see those players playing. Similar to AC Milan situation.

Well a few of those players were bought during the summer after their 5th place finish made them compete in UEFA and not the CL.

But I agree with you, they should have won all of their matches easily

Leverkusen is stupid, they put Barbarez on the bench..

He's been one of their top players all season, and the man is 35

He wasnt that good in their last games. The team generally had some bad games recently. Too bad for them.

The keeper, Adler, is gonna be Germanys number one some day, thats for sure.

36, hence his shirt number. I was going to buy his jersey, but what an awful number it is.

I'm proud to say that he's a family friend. huhuhu.

Anyways, Seb is right, they had a few bad games in a row. They should kick their butts to win the 2nd leg.

I was expecting to see a Maradona :D lol.

Good run by Fenerbahce, had a few chances, but couldn't make it happen. Nonetheless, a big year for the Turkish giants.

Erm 2Pax did you not watch the Man Utd Liverpool game there 2 weeks ago. You know the one where Mascherano was booked twice and sent off?

Great game tonight. Most of the time Liverpool play in Europe there is great excitement. It is great for the game. I thought we shaded it overall tonight but Arsenal played their part as well and should have held out after going ahead. It was a stupid penalty to give away. Walcott's run was brilliant.class player.Babel changed the game when he came on in his proper position.Gerrard was poor.Senderos is a disaster. Wenger really paid the price for not signing a good centre half.

A match to celebrate the tenth anniversary of France's 1998 FIFA World Cup™ victory will take place at the Stade de France on 12 July, the French Football Federation (FFF) confirmed on Tuesday.

The game will be between the France 1998-winning team and a world selection.

The Aime Jacquet-led side beat Brazil 3-0, courtesy of a double from Zinedine Zidane and a third goal from Emmanuel Petit, to win their country's first world title.

It was a great upset and all but whats the point really? lol. only thing I like I'll get to see Zizu play again....I'll probably would want this to happen if it was my country who upset Brazil lol so...

I never saw France's 98 victory as a major upset.Brazil were favourites going into that final but some of their players were pure shite especially Junior Baiano and Cesar Sampaio. Holland should have beaten Brazil in the semi final but Ronaldo was the difference and of course he wasnt near fit to play in the final. It wasnt a major shock that France won that match but it was a shock that France won so easily.
