UEFA Champions League - Second Leg.

I was reading the minute by minute game, cause it wasn't playing on TV. First half was Bremen control. Last half was Juventus.

The first leg was obviously Bremen's game.

In the end, Bremen worked harder and deserved it much more.

I'm not chosing favoritism here, cause I'll go with Juventus over any other Italian club, including bitch ass Ac Milan, I'm just saying it how I see it.
I can't agree with you that first half was Bremen control. Juve dominated in both halfs. Just see how many shots they had and how many ball possesion. In first leg Werder was better but still have more luck. And, beacuse Werder is smaller than Juve, you say they work harder? Werder is really great attacking team and if they improve their defence they'll have more sucess.
I often choose less know teams to support when I watch the games but the Juve is number one of 'my' European teams so naturally I'll support them before any other club except Partizan Belgrade.

wtf? you have no clue what you are talking about...go and watch curling..

if i were Wiese i would jump out of a window. holy shit, what a mistake....too bad munich will lose tonight as well :(
I just compared Rangers and Celtic. In my oppinion, Rangers are still better although last couple of years Celtic had more succes which is obivious. Because of big rivaly and lost race in SPL it's important for Rangers to have such a good season in Europe this year.
Wiese saved Werder couple of times during the game in Turin. Until the tragic moment he was the best player on the field. If Werder qulified for quaterfinals he'll be a hero for sure. Since you mention curling, in Serbia we don't play that sport, so I leave it to you.

What the fuck are you on about fool.Im immature because i pointed out a fact.Celtic have won the European Cup and Rangers havent.Yes Rangers have more leagues and i bet thats the reason you support them. Why would a Serb person support Rangers?because you saw that they have won more leagues and decided to support them.fucking wanker.I wouldnt even consider myself a big Celtic supporter.

Im sure you meant the quarter finals dumb ass.Celtic reaching the UEFA cup final a few years was a similar achievement.Who gives a shit if they got to the quarter finals. Are there medals for reaching the quarter finals?Any half decent team could reach the quarter finals.Celtic shouldve gone through on more than one occasion.
Werder had luck in the first game?Did you even see it.They dominated most of the game.and should have won 3-0.You havent a clue.Juve didnt destroy them.Liverpool beat Juventus last year didnt they?Again,i bet you support only support Juventus because they are the most successful club in Italy.I bet you support Manchester United in England?and you started supporting them in 93.?I bet you are a glory hunter.[/QUOTE]
My favourite team Partizan Belgrade played in finals in 1966 and were better then Real but unfortunately they lost. Is that made them one of a European heavyweights? You have problem if Serb supports Rangers? Let me tell you something. In Serbia you can find a lot of Celtic supporters. They watch games on TV, goin to Irish pubs, wearing Celtic scarves and jerseys. Rangers fans are rare here but present. I can choose any club on the planet if I want to. Deep in my heart there is only one club - Partizan Belgrade. (Maybe you remember classic clash in eightees between Celtic and Partizan with a lot of goals...) Beside Partizan I love Juventus and Rangers. I decided to support Rangers long time ago. (I'm big fan of Scottish football. I also liked Dundee United, Hearts and Queens Park...)
If any decent team can reach quater finals how come we never saw Celtic there? Are all less known teams which reach quater finals decent? Is perhaps Villareal decent? (Btw I watched them live and they are really powerfull team.) But, I must admit, that famous season that Celtic played in UEFA cup was really big...
How you can say that Werder should beat Juve with 3-0? They were better but not that much. Yes, Liverpool beat Juventus last year but Juve was better in 3 of 4 halfs... Liverpool was very lucky team last year.
I started to support Juve a long time ago in 1990 when AC Milan was the best team in Italy and Juve was played often in UEFA Cup. This have nothing with domination. I love Juve for more important reasons.
I dislike Manchester United in England from the day I first heard of them. My favourites there are Newcastle United, Chelsea and Blackburn Rovers. Don't call me a 'glory hunter' you Mick Mc Carthy type of expert.

Just for the record. Glasgow Rangers done a fantastic job in europe this year! The money we get in the SPL is nothing compared to what teams in the Premiership get.

We lasted as long as Chelsea and longer than Man U!!

Better selection of players is the key for the future of Rangers.

PSV were stuggling with the red card Cocu got. That really didn't help.

---

Anyways..

Barcelona
Villarreal
Juventus
Lyon
Benfica
Arsenal
Ac Milan

and most probably, Inter-Milan will be making it in I believe.

These teams will be going to the quarters. I expect some great matches to take place.

PSV was outclassed before Cocu got red. I couldn't see them winning it. And that foul Cocu made was worth a red on itself. After that we zapped to Arsenal - Barca.

Good job Arsenal :thumb: They played with a lot of heart and effort. They were the better team on the pitch. Real wasn't really dangerous enough and Arsenal kept them at bay. Good match played by Ljungberg, Hleb. Lot of work they put in. Henry was his usual awe inspiring self, despite failing to score. Ars. played good football as a whole.

lol @ Bayern getting murdered. poor Seb, but thats what you get for being a bayern fan. :D go support schalke

I don't have doubt on Lyon. They have impeccable team work, that's what is getting them so far and pulling out impressive wins, imo.
