So who watched SmackDown last night? I'm seriously wondering what Vince has been smoking lately. First off, the Guerrero/Mysterio angle. I knew that whatever the secret was, it would probably be lame, but this is just straight up ridiculous. Eddie is Dominic's father? Come on now. I'm not even sure anymore if I'm watching wrestling or Days Of Our Lives. From what I'm seeing, and hearing, Stephanie McMahon wants to take the show as far away from wrestling as possible. I know lots of people consider wrestling to be a man's soap opera, but we never really wanted it to actually become a soap opera.
And what's with having JBL win the number 1 contender's match? So vince complains abot the Batista/JBL match, but then decides, hey let's do it again! My only hope is that they make it a 3 way with Brock Lesnar and he kills them both.
But now on to better news: It seems like Bret Hart and WWE are getting closer to bringing Hart back to tv. WWE is releasing Screwed: The Bret Hart Story in the fall, and they want Hart on tv to promote it. The word is, however, that WWE is doing everything they can to get a deal done, but Bret hasn't been satisfied with the terms they are offering. Here's hoping they can get a deal done soon. Even though he won't be wrestling (Thanks a lot Goldberg, also the stroke he suffered put an end to any hopes of making a wrestling comeback) I'd still love to see him again. Also, Chris Jericho signed a contract extension with WWE, quashing rumors that he may leave the company after SS to focus on his band, Fozzy. However, he's got a number of gigs in Europe in the fall, so don't expect to see him too much after Summerslam
