Look up the K1 Grand Prix, they've had a bunch already in different cities, Bucharest is on the 21st of this month. Top 16 will face off in a world Grand Prix at the end of the year to find the best fighter in the world. Winner of each qualifying Grand Prix automatically goes into the final. It's like the old Pride Grand Prix.

The event was here in MTL, I'm surprised so many ppl went since most are keeping an eye on the hockey game. I went to a bar to watch both the hockey game and the event. There was about 17 500 ppl at the event.
Shogun really ripped shit up. lol. I did not expect a first round K.O, in that way at ALL...
Good event overall though.
I don't follow it as closely as I used to, but I try and get a look when I can.
Btw, did anyone here that Tim Sylvia is gonna be fighting Mariusz Pudzianowski (Former world Strongest Man Champion) in Worchester?
Edit: As for Kimbo, he's a bum. He's now cut from UFC cause well ... look at him fight, he gets put down and doesn't try any reversals, he just covers his face. He's nothing but a common street fighter.

Kimbo's the man.. lol.
I mean, sure he sucks. But I cant lie, I like the guy. He's a lot humbler than I expected him to be. And he fought against all the odds stacked up against him, put his effort in, and actually made it.
Plus he's good for the sport. A lot of people that dont give a shit about MMA still tune in when they hear Kimbo's name.
Good dude, Great to boost ratings.. Still has a lot to work on (as a fighter).. I wish him the best, and hope to see him again in the ufc if he can improve his skills.
