Totally right, that is the only comparison u can make. Although I think there is none thats really good, this is the best. U will never be able 2 find out with sport is the "best". My favorite sport is cycling, I don't say its the best sport. Cause u cant. The only comparison is popularity and then is football the "best" sport. I just wanna say: that list is bullsh*t. It's completely America-orientated. And I'm sorry but that list explains why most people in Europe thinks Americans are bigheads. They think they got everything better, bigger, etc.... This list proves that.

Football - Canadian Football League? please
Hockey - the NHL is full of international stars, but it's American based

Have u ever seen "De Ronde van Vlaanderen"? No: thought so. And what do u think about the Tour de France. And Formula 1 is also a big "sport". Tennis is also a big (and worldwide) sport. I bet in England and the rest of Britain they think rugby is very big. So it's impossible 2 say what is the biggest sport. I think it's about popularity and it should be worldwide. Iceskating is 2gether with football the biggest sport here in Holland. We take lots of olympic medals everytime. But I'm not claimin thats a big sport just bcause it's populair in the country I live.

exactly how many of those sports you mentioned are TEAM sports? considering this is the best TEAMS in the world list, TEAM sports might be the ones worth mentiong

Cycling is a team sport, rugby also and here in some way u can call iceskating here also a teamsport. We got professional iceskating teams.

52% of the players in the league are from Canada. There are more Europeans in the NHL than Americans.. get yer facts straight!!
