The Champions League Final

Oleguer needs to walk up to Almunia and take the fucker out. Injure him, take a red card. Then Barca can just shoot from distance at a makeshift keeper in the Arsenal goal.

I'm a tactical genius.

Nice controversial match :)

Grats to Barca although i disagree with the refs decision of sending Lehmann off. Almunia did great.

Guily's goal shouldve counted.

Eboue dived to win the freekick.

Henry shouldnt be moaning that much

But who cares Barcelona are champions :D

Barca deserved it overal but I feel for Arsenal. Congrats to Barcelona, a great team. Barca missed some good chances and had all the possession Arsenal had 3 shots? (guess)

Fuck Arsenal

Henry and Wenger whinging like cunts. I like how he mentions the refs decisions against Arsenal but doesn't mention the the blatant dive by Eboue for Arsenal's goal and the fact that he missed two one on ones with the keeper. Fuckin faggot. All he did was sul throughout the second half. Maybe he realises that that could be the only opportunity he has of playing in a Champions League Final (if he stays at Arsenal at least).

Well done Barca!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumb:

The referees decisions balanced out in the end.

Barca should go 1 up.Lehmann deserved to go as he was the last man.Eboue dived for the freekick that led to Arsenal's goal.

I thinnk that if Lehmann didnt get sent off and Barcelona went a goal i think they would have won 2 or 3-0.When they went a man down Arsenal defended very deep making it hard for the Barcelona attackers. When you play that deep you cant afford any mistakes and Arsenal did make them.Eboue was at fault for Eto'o's goal. The way it was,Arsenal couldve won it.A missed opportunity i think.

One word to describe Henrik Larsson:

Legend

He was the difference between Barcelona winning and losing imo. What a man.

2 great little passe from larsson indeed.

Also, while I think Lehman shouldn't have been sent off, Eboue definitely deserved about 6 red cards for kicking Gio like that.

Agreed. We all thought the decision wsa sucky but it's not what cost them the game. It was equal up to when Eto'o scored cos of sleepy arsenal defenders. same with 2nd goal. No match is lost just cause of the ref. And finally, it just shows hes a bit sore loser.

The referee should have let Barca play on, counted the goal and then called Lehmann over and sent him off.

Didn't matter in the end, Barcelona are rightful Champions of Europe.

Someone phoned in to You're On Sky Sports and said that this might make Henry more determined to stay with Arsenal (to try and win the Champions League) and less likely to go to Barca. Agree? Disagree?

I'm not sure it'll have that much of a difference on his decision. I don't think he'd rule out a move to Barca after the result, but even if he does he still has other options.

Henry's comments, from Sky Sports:

"I think we can be proud of ourselves and I don't want to start any arguments, but I don't know whether the referee had a Barcelona shirt on or something - in the first half they kicked me all over the place"

"They are not used to the pace of The Premiership or maybe the desire, I thought they were harsh - I told the ref, 'If you don't want us to win it, just tell us from the start.'

"I don't think he cost us the final, you can't say that because we were one-nil up, and you know against a team like Barcelona - doing what we did for a very long time was more than difficult, but on the other side - next time I might learn how to dive maybe, they tried to kick me in my knee, from behind on my ankle but I am not a woman so I try and stay on my feet - but I always expect the ref to do his job, but today he didn't.

"At the end of the day they [Barcelona] can be happy, but we have played at ten for the whole game."

"People always talk about Ronaldinho, and everything but I didn't see him today - I saw Henrik Larsson."

"Two times he came on - he changed the game, that is what killed the game - sometimes you talk about Ronaldinho and Eto'o and people like that, you need to talk about the proper footballer who made the difference and that was Henrik Larsson tonight because I didn't see no Ronaldinho or no Eto'o or a proper referee also."

"I am just upset about the match we did - I can't complain about Jens's sending off, I am sure if you look at the game again Puyol should have got a yellow card, so many times Marquez came from behind to take my ankle and he didn't get a yellow card and I am sure if you are playing against me with a yellow card it is not the same game anymore."

"But we can be proud of what we did, I am upset for the Arsenal fans who came - but at the end of the day we made ourselves proud and the English game proud and I am a just a bit strange, but you know that is how it is."
