That was a 4 part series right? I think i have the ones your talking about if they are.. They had a real dark, gloomy feel and all the turtles had red bandannas? I remember cuz theirs a pic of I think Shredder killing Splinters girl and her tit is popped out :eek: That was like.. the 1st booby i think i ever seen when i was like 8.. lol

^^^those be them. after reviewing them, only 2 of the books i really liked. #2 and #3 (i think) we're sci-fi, time and space travelling stories...not a big fan. but the first book (the origin and the mousers) and the fourth book, the one where they based the whole farm scene in the movie on (but it's leo rather than raph who gets injured).

these books were so good and serious. as much as i love the OG cartoon, i think they ruined the concept by toning it down and making it more child-friendly (i know...it's a cartoon), and therefore limited the potential of the movie.

i also like how they all had red.

it says: The TMNT originated in an American comic book published by Mirage Studios in 1984. The concept arose from a comical sketch by Kevin Eastman during a casual evening of brainstorming with his friend Peter Laird.


what that really means in a p.c. way is they were drunk. which is the true story. the two guys that created the turtles were drunk the night they sketched them out
