Sadam Hussien ends his hunger strike .

Lawyer Khalil Dulami said " The president was forced to end it due to health reasons "

Dulami said he had lost a cosiderable amount of weight but wouldnt elaborate but says he is in high morale .
What the fuck did he think would happen ? Talk was of him starving himself to death due to his feeling of unfairness in the trial and the treatment he has received since being captured .

Lol - starve yourself to death then pull out for health reasons

My god he was lucky he was not serving time in his own prisons if he feels that the one he is serving in now is bad .

maybe, maybe not he still makes more sense then Bush an his bullshit, Iraq wasnt in a ever nearing state of civil war when he was in power as it is now, no suicide bombings, no health care problems, ect. I never said he wasnt ruthless nor did i say he was a saint, but he had Iraq in order, an who knows if all this bullshit we hear is even true, the united states im embarrassed to say, isnt the most honest when it comes to making someone THEY put in power, look monsterous. Im sure ehe did have people executed an such, but he makes excellent points, "I was the head of state, I gave the orders so why keep all these other people here when ya have me?" Iraq is a mess an we need to leave shit would better off if we just left an gave Saddam power back, Al-Quedia or however ya spell it wouldnt last long, Saddam an his distrust for any outsiders wold definately clear that up, order would be restored. Funny how theres all this talk about he so harshly treated Shia's yet when he was in power no one was blowing up their mosques or holy sites, anyway its inevitable Iraq is a money pit and a hopeless loss, civil war will erupt completly an somewhere down the line a u.s. president who acctually has a head on his shoulders will pull us out just as they did with Vietnam, and Iraq will be in a state of Koas, 10 times worse then it was previously.

They had a thing on the radio a week or so ago asking what kind of food would break Saddam, @ health reasons who knew not eating would cause that!
Oh another funny thing on the radio:
"Many people think if they dont eat they'll loose weight, not true, you need to exercise too!"
Silly Saddam!

I personaly dont agree with you on this , the guy was a psyhopath along with his evil brothers , he ruled with fear and violence and people were tortured in very barbaric ways under his regime - Just because there was more control doesnt mean it was better place , the control was gained by fear for yourself and your family being slaughtered if you crossed him ,what sort of place and way of life is that to live in ? You say America brought him in but there was no way he could be voted out by the people as

One : They woudnt dare
Two : The coruption of his reign

Granted the place is a mess but these people have lived under his reign for so long could not cope and know how to react once they were free as the riots and looting showed when they were liberated .
Hopefully peace will be restored and a new regime brought in which will not only bring a sense of order but well being and a sense of a better future for the Iraqi people .

Your point of bringing him back is insane , can you imagine if like you
say they did put him back in charge , there would be a lot more people slaughtered , anyone who he felt was against him in his final hours before capture be it based on religion , politics or whatever would be killed -There would be a bloodbath . I see Where some of your points are coming from but you seem to be saying -

Iraq now - mess

Iraq sadam era - controled mess .

So bring back Sadam so we have control . Not realy the answer imo .

I doubt we'll see a leadership in Iraq in our lifetime that works, it may look sweet on the outside but I bet it still wont be any better than Saddam and that will be the best we'll see.
