I just watched a documentary on some of this, and all I've got to say is that's really fucked up

Is it common in Europe to throw banana's on the field to taunt black players and shit?

In the UK it aint really a problem anymore, but in italy and spain it can be disgracefull at times.

Spain and Italy seem to have this problem, but some of it seems weird, Barcelona players taunted Roberto Carlos with racist chant but have black players in their team also

thats fucking horrible

they showed people waving nazi flag's in the stands too
Yeah the stupid thing is, if they have black players playing for them that's ok! It's only when black players play against them they start the racist nonsence. Show's the mentality of these animals.

I remember last season or the season before Ashley cole getting abused in spain, it was fuckin terrible! I mean how sad must his parents have felt who we're probally watching.

^It was Shawn Wright-Phillips too who was getting racially abused in Spain.
Yeah i remember that aswell, he looked lost when they we're abusing him! When i see that sort of thing happening i always tend to think of the hurt that there parents must feel. And obviously the players! It's crazy this sort of behaviour still happens in 2006.

The thing is that it isn't only against black players... In the eastern part of Europe, it's fucking incredible to see a match between Russia and Georgia, Lithuania and Latvia.... You just don't believe it...

In the central part it's the Czech Republic and Slovakia and in the Balkans it's the worst man...

Last year Bosnia went to play in Serbia...

go on 1:20 mins of this video to see the nicest things that happened
basicly, they beat us almost to death lol...

Man fuck Bananas, they threw granades at us...

one guy i know lost 2 fingers because he wanted to throw the granade back...

p.s.

what pisses me off is that those who did that to us weren't even Serbians from Serbia... They were some wannabe serbians from Bosnia.

Was last year in Italy. There's a lot of nazi shit goin' on. Winebottles with pictures of Hitler are in most liquorstores.
So it's not particularly in soccer. In soccer Lazio is bad. I remember Liverani got problems there at time he played for Lazio, with the fans of the club he played for.......

Here in holland we ain't got that kind of problems. When Ajax played against Aletico Madrid in i think '97 they were throwin bananas at the players. Their late chairman Jesus Gil y Gil was really bad. Surrounding those Championsleague matches he offended Ajax' black players.

Thats why Lazio get dubbed Natzio.

It's worse in Spain and Italy and in some parts of Eastern Europe. It does still go on in the UK, just not as prevalently. Certain clubs have reputations. You still get some fans in the terraces making anti-Semetic remarks about Spurs.

Lots of Neo-Nazi and fascist groups use football terraces as recruitment camps.

Atletico Madrid is Spain's SS Lazio... It was Franco's club.

As for Lazio, DiCanio is their hero.

whats up with the nazi-shit going on? i thought that was over 60 years ago :(
no it's not... since 1990's it became popular... probably due to immigration

anyways, in Europe, there's not one person that is 100% not-nationalistic (i dunno how it is in the States, but "nationalism" means that you only love your nation and hate aothers in Europe)

I know neo-nazi-ism still exists, there will always be outliers

but I thought the days of it being publically accepted, such as at a sporting event, were over

guess I overlooked soccer, huh

Yea.Some if not all part of it has to do with politics. This hate is because countries don't like each other because of history thats been going on with them.Georgia and Russia dislike each other.Georgia always looked as 'baby' or lower and Russia been looking down on them.I'm Georgian.Sometimes people go in stadiums not because to cheer their country but to use oppurtunity to put down the next country that they hate. Its bigger then soccer when these two play.Soccer is bigger then just sport and entartainment. It involves these kind of stuff. One might say they are krazy, serial killers.
