Quran Desecration Story

You can't believe I'm questioning the accusations because you're too busy wishing them to be true. The truth is that none of us have any proof whatsoever to back up whether or not the Koran was desecrated at Guantanamo. All we have are the words of former captives and the Pentagon, neither of which are exactly the most objective sources.

I don't blame you if you don't trust the Pentagon, but I think it's absolutely asinine that you blame me for not trusting former captives.
My POV exactly.

the allegations were true and if it were possible i would have cut the motherfucking balls off those fuckers who did it. they can never dare to do that infront of a muslim man without their bulletproof and their guns like a motherfucking cowards. the sooner we muslims realise that this is a campaing agains islam the better.

How do you know for sure that the allegations were true?

The part that I bolded is plain ignorant. Bush had the article retracted just because of people like you thinking that way. A campaign against Islam because a few government officials alegedly desecrated the Quran? You're blowing shit out of proportion.

im sure the quran aproves that ... -_-
if it does, which i don't believe, then something must be wrong because who cares what others think about ur believes... as long as YOU never resort to such disgraceful actions... who cares? you know how many thoras and bibles have been destroyed...? sure it's wrong... but retaliation is wrong too. Besides, there will always be unbelievers... don't try to convert them, try to live with them. The way you talk is like everybody should be a muslim at all costs... so that would approve you to cut his balls off?

But it was too late, wasnt it?Even if it didnt happen (I highly doubt it), it's too late to change Muslims' opinions.Abu Ghraib's accusations were too much already they couldnt change anything about it, so why is it supposed to be difficult for me to believe what happened in Guantanamo lately did happen? Not saying that's what you meant to tell me, I was just referring to Abu Ghraib to give you an example of muslim abuse cases that had happened before.

Trust me, Morris, I DONT want to believe they're true.I just cant handle the fact that there are people out there who can do such fucked up things.
I dont even know what to say.I'm sure it I phrased it all badly, though :(

:thumb: agreed Devil_advok8 an Morris i can see your point also that, sure some of the people who were rioting were jus looking for a reason i cant dispute that BUT you cant trust the pentagon nor the Bush administration as far as you can throw em, more an more everyday i see their "Nazi" tactics, deny everything, convince the people their in constent danger, i wouldnt put it past these people to interrorgate with those means, nothing is sacred to them except the "good ole usa" who never does any wrong. Oh well in the end the guilty will burn in hell.

Take it easy. Such language does not exactly gain sympathy. If you're going to express yourself, you can do it in a normal fashion.

Doesn't anyone else find it ironic that there hasn't been a peep out of the Muslim World regarding the continued daily slaughter of their own brethren at the hands of Iraqi militants?

what can they say? Muslims are fighting their own battle since 9-11. Y are americans (especially) always 'bullying' Muslims? All religions should be respected- that's just human moral. And the more USA rebel against Muslims- the more they look 'bad'- showing no respect or human moral towards other humans.

Once you find someone who can persuade those Iraqis to stop the bombing, let me know.

What's that have to do with anything? Muslim protests aren't going to change the policies at Guantanamo Bay either.

The point is that rabid anti-Americans can work themselves into a hatred and protesting at the (unproven) suggestion that they flushed the Koran down the toilet, and yet these people don't have a thing to say about the constant suicide bombings in Iraq perpetrated against Iraqi Muslims by Iraqi Muslims.

yes iraqi muslims are using suicide bomb tactics, and are generally killing other iraqi muslims, but that is not the objective of those attacks. Thos attacks are aimed (generally) at the citizens or Iraq that have given in to the occupation, and are working with the Anericans to "Reinstate" stability in Iraq. So no the muslim world will not attack the militants, because their ultimate goal is to rid the occupation, not to kill their bretherens. Where as here non muslims are reportedly disgracing what the religion of Islam is based on, that is why the Muslim world will speak up against it.

Although I agree with you, speaking up is not solving anything, and yes it seems hypocritical to condemn ones action but not the others, but it is what it is. The militants in Iraq are doing what they think needs to be done to acheive their goals, wheras the U.S. Soldiers are not acheiving anything from degrading the religion of Islam, and stopping Muslims from practice. That shit sickens me, and i hope they get what they deserve in this life and the next for what they have done.

i just gotta say to think that guantanamo bay is being run under humane regulations and practices is ridiculous, black muslims in southern prisons have their qurans disrespected and torn apart on a daily basis by redneck prison guards.... if that happens in us prisons worse things happen at guantanamo bay, including being force fed pork , alcohol, and yes quran desecration
