Technology Problem again. (big Blue screen)

I was just messing with the pc and this blue screen popped out from nowhere, the screen was all blue sayin 'A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent demage to your computer' and under in it was this thingy 'PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA'

i dont know what this is. this happend before to with this new DELL pc that i got. i didnt know what to do. i just turned the pc off and restarted and right away ran all kinds of scaning programs including hijackthis and this is what i got. tell me if anything bad is detected and why did this blue screen popped out from nowhere and how do i prevent it from happening again?

The blue screen that you got GENERALLY indicates a hardware fault (n this case with memory)...the test above should show any faults, if not just dont worry about it (until it happens again...then send the bitch back)

You're gonna have to extract it to a floppy disk cuz it will make a bootable floppy.

Make sure you have the floppy drive set as a bootable device before your hard-drive in your BIOS settings.

Restart your PC with the floppy in the drive. Let the tests run, it will tell you if you have any bad memory.

Do you have more than one memory module installed? If so, are they the same make, size and speed?

See what results you get from this memory test, if you get any bad areas you have to remove or replace them.

Is it possible for you to go back to a restore point in your XP setup? Did you save any restore points?

Well, i ran the memory test as long as i could. it went up to 36 Pass and took about 6 hours. i could've kept it runnin but i didnt know when it would stop and i just stoped there at 36 pass tests and restarted without the floppy disc.no bad areas or anythin I GUESS cause nothin was saying basically during that 6 hour test.

what do i do? should i have kept runin? but when would it stop, is there limit or somethin?

and also in what occasions do i run this memory test? only when this 'Big Blue screen' thingy happends?

Well, this blue screen has been popping up time to time still. i called dell and they full of shit. you dont qualify for this kinda problem they say.

i would back everything up and just re-install everything... i know it seems a bit much, but it is worth it in the end. you dont want to be running a shit configuration.

alot of these computer companies' tech support people know dick all.They have guides for specific problems then read them to you.

Thats the only possible solution to this problem? damn. i have 40GB of files and besides that i have no clue how to back up. what are some ways to back up? one is i know putting them in cds but putting 40GB would take forever and too much waste of cds. what are other ways i can back it up?
