Papi's steroid induced heart problems?

#21
oh i read that and i know you're joking.... but still, its gonna raise some eyebrows taht howard hit 60 HRs....if howard were to break the record of 61, and im sure you know why i consider 61 still the record, there would be no doubt that he didnt use steroids....i think howard knows better than that.... and then, maybe, we can still consider the record broken by at least one person that had no steroid talks on its trail....ortiz, however, is just as likely to break that record... what is it, 6 more HRs for howard and 9 or 10 or so for ortiz??? that's do-able....

now that i think of it, i didnt realize that howard and ortiz were such a big deal....i just thought howard was getting recognition for obvious reasons: a good season..... but this 61 is kinda in his target too...

ortix has missed too much time to be able to reach 61

he can still get to 55 ish, but I don't see 61 in his sights anymore due to the last week or so

just like if Pujols didn't miss those 3 weeks. he lost like 70-80 at-bats, he could be at 50 right now

ortiz can go on a tear and hit 10 hrs in a month....dont rule that out...he comes back tuesday....assuming he hits the ground running, he'll hit 60+

if not him, can we agree howard will?

if ortiz hits 10 homers, that gives him 57

a nice sum certainly

but not 61

howards got a pretty good shot at 61, especially in that ballpark. he needs 9 more in 25-ish games to go. right now he's on pace for 62.

at this point, the only thing that can stop him from being able to get to 60+ is if it gets to him mentally
