I'll try my Real Madrid tactical post again seeing as Liverpool wern't their opponents (lawl). Anyway why buy Huunterlaar for £20 million and not play him agains't your biggest and title rivals?
Raul/Higuan are not out and out strikers, both come short for the ball. When Huunterlaar did come on Real resorted to hoofing the ball upto him...why not play Higuain out wide and let him cross the ball to Huunteraar especially as the back four of Barca are not amazing in the air (Puyol's goal not included

Gago is a waste of space, he was made to look like a fool against Xavi and Iniesta, he was shockingly poor, for a DM he shouldn't be so off the pace. Diarra tried hard and even though the 3rd goal he lost the ball, where the hell were the back 4?
Cannavaro has been so poor since the WC, no wonder Juve fans don't want him back.
Robben did alot of his work covering for Ramos. Play Ramos as a central defender, he can be a liability as a Right back. I'm not a big fan of M.Diarra but if he wasnt out for the season I think he surely wouldve had a better battle with Yaya Toure.
Real Madrid should sell:
Gago, Cannavaro, Heinze, VDV, Saviola, Drenthe, Sneijder, Guti, Javi Garcia, Metzelder
Buy:
A strong centreback, good fullback, Lahm maybe or Taiwo, Ribery, a creative mid,...fuck it they need to revamp the whole team.

^^they have done well. Milito was a great signing and Tiago Motta has done well for them as well. Its amazing how poor Sampdoria have gone since last season. This time last season they were battling for the final champions league place. Maggio was the only real good player to leave and now the team is struggling. The defence has been very poor. Cassano might be off in the summer
