Of course "I" personally don't know whether they're capable or not.. however, the player himself and the team he's drafted by know what they're getting themselves into. I mean fuck.. you think an NBA team would waste a draft pick on a player they didn't think was capable of competing day in and day out? Come on now.. gimme a break.

So you're saying that guys like Lebron, Carmelo and Kobe couldn't conduct themselves as professionals in their first and second years in the league? That's bullshit.

And what are you trying to prove with this "article". You just proved my point. The writer claimed Kobe would be a bust, however, he was not a bust and is one of the top players in the league today, REGARDLESS OF WHAT ANY OF YOU SAY.

Anyways.. I don't see why you got all bitter about my post... An opinion is an opinion

Peace
Why would teams draft Kwame Brown, Travis Outlaw, Ndubi Ebi, whatever the fuck his name is, if they knew what they were getting themselves into? There is no way of finding out for sure. I used the article to prove my point, not yours, that nobody knows whether the players are capable or not.

I have no clue where you got the idea that I said Lebron, Carmelo, and Kobe aren't able to conduct themselves as professionals in the league in the first or second year. Speaking of Carmelo, your point just went to shit. Carmelo refused to enter a game after his coach told him to last year after getting pissed off for whatever reason. MJ had to call him up to tell him how stupid he is and give him advice. One way Carmelo doesn't conduct himself professionally. Not too long ago, Carmelo was pulled over and police found marijuana in his car. Since he's a big time star and rich, and his friend is prolly broke as fuck, he had his friend claim that the weed was his.( there is no concrete proof that it was Carmelo's, but I wasn't born yesterday) I bet that friend is rolling in an Escalade right now.
