well you changed the slot and now the problem kinda switched from one OS to the next? That would tell me we're comin closer lol.

Lol no. we are sticking to the same problem in windows xp my screen reso is 4bit lol. will it help if i format both of my OS and install a fresh xp ?

Well I guess it would help but we should find a better solution then reinstallin. You only see a VGA adapter and no real graphic card, that's why you have this problem......hm, try 2 remove the VGA adapter, delete it, and restart your PC. Try that.

I cant delete it. i disabled it says disbale this will cause stop functionn something like that. i dont think its best to uninstall it

I couldn't find a driver with those infos, sorry. If you'd had a name it would help, :)

Hm, I run out of ideas slowly, you could still try to uninstall that VGA, restart and see what happens, but I admit it sounds a lil freaky lol.

Edit, well chose driver install then and insert your win cd I guess.

Thanks. I'll give that a try. but i decided to install a new start xp SP3 and see how that goes. Will let you guys no if does get fixed and dont forget i rep those who helped me.
