Jeter's been underperforming his entire career. You put those numbers on any other team and you don't get all the "arguably the best shortstop in the league" crap. He's a good shortstop, not a great shortstop.

Great leader though, I will give you that.

you gotta be shittin me if you bitchin bout 7 point difference and season is not even over.
jeter was hitting exactly .300 one week ago, and yes ill bitch about a 7 point difference, how many yankee games have you watched this year woman?

Jeter is on his way to his typical season this year. over 300, 20-25hr, and 75-80rbi.

hes not underperforming nor overperforming this year. he never gonna give you 40hr 120rbi season. and what he giving to yanks is enugh. they know he never gonna give them 40 and 120 season.

its others who are underperfoming in his team. leave Jeter alone. Johnson and Pavano are most to blame so far.

99%.

hes been over 500 at some point this year and hes been under 200 at some point this year. so? season isnt over yet and he well over 300 at this point.

but how will my number of games watched determine what jeter's season is gonna be like dick head?

you'd see how hot/cold jeter has been this year by watching the games, i'd figure such a superior genius of your stature could realize that

so?

first off all everybody goes to slump in baseball in some point during the season. nobody stays hot. everyone goes to some kinda of slump for some time.

second, having watched the majority of games this year i still havent seen Jeter go any big slump so far.

..and lastly, that (slump) still doesnt determine or at least shouldnt not be the reason why certain players underperforming cause thats only little part of the season. you cant judge a players whole season with certain time frame slump.

i really figured such a superior genius of your stature would definetly realize that much.

despite my stature of genius'ness, im a pessimest regarding baseball, and until i see Jeter raising up to .315 hes still under-achieving

well thats as dumbest statement as you ever hear.

I guess you gonna be the only one out of 55000 people after the season is over standing in front of yankees stadium and barking ''Jeter is no good cause he underperformed '' if Jeter ends up below 315.

What are you taking about the managers for the game are Terry Francona for the American League and LaRussa for the National League. If you don't know what you're talking about just shut up

considering yankee stadium is a 7 hour drive from my house, no i dont plan on doing that

nor do you have any proof in the past of me going to a game and barking out anything

therefore your humor failed

Matt Clement was named to AL squad today! more red sox on the roster woot woot! it's worth to have so many red sox in the all star game since now they will truly hustle for fenway games 1, 2 6 and 7 of 2005 world series :thumb: :D :thumb:

you were wrong and know that too. its called being sarcastic.

you have no argument with me about jeter is underperforming this year. if you make another attempt to come back and argue with me you only gonna hurt yourself. i suggest you leave it here and go for 0 for 1.
