Rolen shouldn't be in there because of the injury, I agree with you on that, but Edmonds should be in because he's having a pretty good year so far. 15 HR 50 RBI. His batting average has been better in the past (.278 right now), but he's also a hell of a center fielder. His real only problem is swinging outta the zone when he's at 0-2, otherwise, he's deservant of his spot.

I like what Harold Reynolds said: have a minimum number of games played need to be a starter. That would solve a lot.

The rule where every team must be represented really hurt a lot of guys that could have been there. I can't believe the ChiSox have no position players and are yet in first place. One of their starters deserves to start the all star game, especially after that.

who cares? as long as the AL wins, im happy, because that means if the yankees make it to the WS they'll have homefield advantage

Disgusting Eckstein the starter??? I would prefer to see Khalil Greene to start the game sincerely and Beltran what a poor season when Carlos Lee is on the bench and is simply on fire with 72 rbi plus Miguel Cabrera too deserves more to be there than Edmonds but what can i do like they say This one counts it will be at Tony Larussa to make the adjustments if he doesn't want to begin the World Series away like last year.
