But having said that, I played online with some friends from NYC the other day at like 8am UK time.

Honestly the best thing to do would be for you guys to get on Twitter and follow me. I'll follow you, that way you can make an update saying "who wants to play mario kart online" and I'll get that update pushed to my phone instantly.

That's what happened the other day with my friends in NYC. I just woke up to a update from one of them saying exactly that, so I hit em back and it was on!
