I know there aren't that many mac users on the board, but still there are a few. And now i'm one of them (YAY)
Got the powerbook for 1400US.
Anyway i have to start over. But i thought we should dedicate a thread to mac users (and sticky it) for links to applications that are a must have or applications that are fun. Where do you get the software from etc etc.

i use ircle 3.1 for irc.
i think it's a 30 day demo but serial is easy to find. if not, just go to user>Library>Preferences> and trash the Ircle preferences file when your trial period runs out.

ps. Garage Band sucks without the Jam Packs

Soundtrack Pro is good.

Audacity is another one you could try. it's free.

try changing it to .rar ... i'm guessing somebody changed it to I41 for whatever reason.

Salar - no m4a in Soundtrack or Audacity. and Garage Band is a beat making software so all you do on it is fuck around with WAV (or AIFF) loops.

Reincarnating this because i have a question. How do i install drivers.
they are pkg files and i'm stuck.

^ just double click on the PKG file. it should be very simple after that.. like click on Accpet and then OK.

that's what i thought, but it asks me to choose an application to open the pkg file with.
It happens not only with drivers but with programs. how can i fix it
