lately ive been seein that kobes just been gettin better and been wonderin what he'll be at in a couple years like that. but now its like hes faded out either by his own submission or just gradualy fadin and hes fightin to stay in real hard. kobe fans hella happy bout it but short or long term i dont see much of winnin ways for him. its interestin though to see wat he'll bring
The way Kobe has been playing isnt putting much strain on his body. The triangle Phil Jackson is running doesnt allow him to get much contact. Take away a freaky injury, Kobe still has lots of ball in him.

so now your blaming it on Phil?
Where did I say that? I just said that the way Kobe is playing right now (due to the triangle and his training) will allow Kobe to have a long career. Thats why I (and many) expect Kobe to keep going for about 10 years strong.

I read that wrong, my mistake.

Lakers have some talent, who? Who brings some talent consistently? Nobody.
who is given the chance? when every single possesion the ball lands in kobe's hands and he sees in his eye well i have no other choice but to shoot it.. they got smush parker he hit 25 a cople of games ago, theyve got deveon george a proven scorer a big part of the championship run they had, lamar odom he was a proven scorer in miami (see how he plays when kobe is injured, he can be a leader of a team and can control the pace of games) aaron mckie he may be older but i think hes still got a little bit in em, luke walton he can be effective somewhat, chris mihm a guy that can give you 10 and 6 a game, and kwame if he tries lol so as i was saying its not like they have a second star on the team that the lakers are used to but the team isnt half bad

given the chance lamar odom can be a scottie pippen type player smush can be a very good offensive player and mckie is a proven vetran, if these guys are given the chance to score they will most often then not if kobe still averages 40+ shots a game the lakers arent going no where

Did you ever think Kobe doesn't pass them the ball for a reason?

Sure, he's a hog, but he's also playing with a bunch of bums

^ they can be good players lamar odom is a proven talent look at him play when kobes doesnt play that game. if a guy gets like 4-5 shots a game while kobe gets 40+ of course there going to look like bums they have a decent team enough at least to grab the last playoff position in the west and the way other teams are playing in the west a chance to do alot better then that. one man teams in the nba dont result in shit, and thats a fact. look at cavs last year they had a shittier team then kobes lakers and they almost made playoffs

yall give kobe way too much credit hes a selfish "im the greatest player ever" type of guy and untill he loses that say bye bye to the post season.

Notice how Lamar Odom steps up when Kobe isn't playing, where is he when he is. You can't blame playing like you dont care on Kobe, the guy looks like he doesn't try unless he can shine some how. You say true things about there players, but there players aren't that good, given a chance or not. I do like Smush, he could be the second scorer. At the same time they aren't doing that bad this season. I think they are right at or above .500, not sure. If someone else could step up and show Kobe that they can play CONSISTENTLY then I'm all for it, until then I'm all for the only consistent thing they have going, and that is Kobe.

Hm, Gome won the last game but some of the shots he took (even if he hit them) where insaine. The last shot over James, I mean, how can u not set up one of the free guys out there on the 3 point line? I dunno.

People say Kobe doesn't have anybody to pass the ball to and nobody can make plays other then him. well, he hasnt given them a chance is one. second, great players make other players great also.

People say well MJ had Pippen and others to pass the ball to but Kobe doesnt have Pippen's like teamates. well, what do you think Pippen made himself a player that he became? he wasnt ''Pippen'' till MJ showed him and they started winning together. not exactly saying MJ tought Pippen how to play but he sure did made him better as did Pippen to MJ. dont say Kobe doesnt have any good players to pass the ball to. MJ didn't have anybody when he first came. Pippen wasnt no in his prime, nor Grant and others when MJ got in Bulls. they all were unknown players who became known players together and made a name for thmeselves. same thing could happen with Kobe, he needs to realize that he needs to make whoever teamates he has better players. its hes job as a leading best player in the team to teach young players and get most out of them. thats what MJ did. he wasnt given Pippen in his prime when he got there first. they basically both started same time and grew together and helped each other become the players they are now. so, Kobe needs to make his teamates better. he needs to realizes and as we all know already that he can shoot and he can play, but he can not beat opponent team all by himself. so he needs to teach hes teamates and be a team player and get most out of them.

Another example is when MJ came back and played for Wizards. he knew he could've still have played and he could've still have averaged 20+ points which he did and he also knew he had young teamates and players who needed to be tought. he wanted to show them and teach them young players Kwami brown,Heywood,Jeffries how to play. he wanted to win too but he wasn't taking no 30 shoots a game. he was tryna win with these young players he had and help them develop as quick as he could and put them in next level. although he sometimes especailly in his last year got lil too selfish but hes originall idea was to come back and teach young players succed.

Btw, i hate to compare or even bring up MJ with Kobe same time.

Odom really fucked us late in that Kings game. Picking up that offensive foul late in the game when they were up by 5. Seriously, this Laker team doesnt have a good second option on offense.

That was a stupid move by Odom. up by 5 and you going to drive into the basket so early in the shot clock. unwise desicion no doubt. he should've let the shot clock go down and then go.

On the other hand, at the end of the game Lakers had chance to win that game when game was tie and Odom took the shot as the time expired and missed it but did you see Kobe's face? i mean damn, this guy was like why didnt you give me the ball is was all written on his face. dude, you been taking all the shots all game all year in that matter and Odom took one shot at the end and you giving him that ' why didnt you let me take it' look? come on man.

Kobes a ball hog. True most of the lakers players suk but they will never improve if the ball is never passed to them. Lamar odem is kinda good too. Kobe should get his teamates involved more in the game n stop being such a cocky biatch!!!!

He is having a good season tho....but kobe the west coast AI? Heck no mayn lol

Kobe has even stated that winning comes first, second, and third. That is big time lie right there. Where has he ever stated that he is happy with just scoring?
he doesnt need to verbaly say that he is happy with scoring
just look at the way he plays
