SOFISTIK, I hope you did not buy the nano yet. If you haven't buy it from Best Buy. Why? Because they have the 3 year warranty replacement program. Basically if the nano fucks up you will get a brand new one on that same day instead of waiting 2-3 weeks for you nano to be repaired. Also once apple does stop making the nano they will replace your non-functioning nano to another ipod of the same price you bought it. (Example: Lets say you bought a nano for 200 bucks, you will get to choose another ipod of $200 in future generations) Sweet eh? Oh and the nano is freakinig small, I know I would break it easily.

Naw, I didn't buy it yet. Apple store has a warranty, too, just not 3 years, and the latter thing you said is true, which is why I want to buy it from the apple store.
As for the dude that said you can get a good deal on Ebay, I tried. It looks good 12 hours before the auction end. Five minutes before the auction ends, the price is over $170, not including about 40 dollar shipping.
but why would you buy the nano when apple have just released the 5g video ipod. ok the nano is really small and light but the normal size ipod is not exactly made out of lead. plus they cost about the same to. also the thing about the nano is the headphone jack is on the bottom of the machine which is not good design or practical is my opinion
I don't have interest for a video ipod. The nano appeals to me, you can say. I already have an Iriver H320, I'd just use the nano to get around, because it's much more smaller and compact, and has a level of "coolness", too.
