Who's got it? Who wants it? What do you think about it?

I'm thinking of getting it. I was thinking of ordering it from the apple store site and having them engrave my name or something on it for free.

nano's have real scratching problems atm...

Infact, people are suing: http://www.neowin.net/comments.php?id=31140&category=main

and apple has recieved SO many complaints about the scratches, I was gonna buy one last month... but I was comparing it with the PSP...

and PSP = Ten times more value..

Like seriously weigh it out...

Nano:

- Small
- Lightweight
- 2/4gb's of memory
- Can only store Images and songs
- Memory is not expandible
- Battery cannot be replaced
- Connectivity: USB/Firewire

Cost: AU$350 for 4gb AU$290 for 2gb

PSP:
- A bit big
- Superclear screen that doesn't scratch easy
- Capable of viewing Images
- Capable of viewing Videos
- Capable of outputting to music
- Expandible memory
- You can watch T.V. with firmware 2.5
- You can browse the Internet with firmware 2.0 +
- And last but not least... you can play games :)
- Battery can be replaced
- Connectivity: Infra-red, Wi-fi and USB

PSP Price: AU$399

Btw, I ended up buying a PSP :D... still thinkin of gettin a Nano though... they look hot... n wen i hold'em i wanna eat it..

beReal...you know what I'm gonna say.

Frank Grimes, they won't put out a 40gb Nano. Not without a big technological advancement. The most they can do at the moment is a 16 gigabit (2gb) chip; the 4gb using two of those.

True dat, since its based on flash memory... unlike the latter ipod's they were based on a physical disk.

my friend has a nano and he said the battery life is TERRIBLE, he gets about 4 hours out of average volume with stock headphones. what a jip!

^Well, that's probably cause he plays 192kb songs at the maximum volume. The battery life described is for 128kb songs, at half the max volume, I believe.

If thats the case, then that's shit!

Who would wanna listen to all their songs at less then 192?.. I mean 128 is okay... but like... only for a few songs, 192 is pretty much the new standard now-a-days.

Done. PM me the specs and Ill send u my address...

I basically want it for instrumentals anyway, im sick of burning cds with one new beat on them every day to listen in the car and write to it. So you're helping my career ;) Ill give u a shout in my album booklet too hehe.

i heard Apple admit to the public that theres a few flaws to the Nano. Also, its REALLY small man. U can break it easy, you can lose it, the wheel is too fucken small for your thumb...its sick and all, but i'd stick with the OG iPod
