I think the extra few pushes and the few extra seconds it takes to do that isn't exactly hard or draining, but I understand what you're saying.
yes maybe it needs getting used to but I find touchscreen not comfortable for texting. When I played with my friend's iphone it took me at least 2 times more to do basic stuff I do on the go with my normal phone. When I write a text message I don't want it to take me more than 20-30seconds.
I'm always looking for phones that are good for calling and texting, then there's camera, music player and all that stuff because it's less important imo. If I'd need a good music/video player on the go I'd rather get a small and reliable phone + an ipod touch (or any other good multimedia player). Also I have everything I need (maybe except wifi) on any mid-end modern phone which is smaller, more reliable, faster to use and usually has much better camera .

Please tell me you are kidding. Awful phone.
I just like the look. I don't know about the quality of it. I've had my phone for the longest time. The only other I like is the LG Shine, not the flip. The other.

I'm not looking for anything that has keyboard popping out with photon missiles. Just looking for something simple. lol

It doesn't look well imo and it's just terrible to use. It's also big. My friend has it and he bitches all the time about how it has nothing in it.

Personally phones that suit me best are the newest SonyEricssons with Cybershots. The new 8mpx just owns everything else:

But I won't lie, camera is the only feature I use except calling, texting and gaming.

Yeah, I have a Sony Ericsson now. Decent camera.

I like that Nokia also, I forget the name of it. It also has a 5MP Cam I believe.

i might smell it, but i'm sort of with rukas and casey on the slide keyboard. i have a friend who got a regular iphone though and i liked what i saw so far. i'm used to windows mobile anyway, the response on the iphone is way greater, so fast navigation and carrying out tasks doesn't cause any hindrance for me.
