yes they did. tha penguins lowered their prices by 45% and about 10 other teams have made announcments that they are lowering prices. other teams just haven't made announcments yet.

I was a hockey fan until the lockout. When I first heard there would be no season it was depressing. But throughout the year, I realized I didn't miss it one bit. At least I realize now just how much of spoiled babies hockey players, and athletes in general, are. Although how much do you want to bet that as soon as their contracts are up, half the NHL players go back to Europe, where they can make a ton of money.

Hockey Players are not the babies. They had no word,it was the Players association who was making the deals with the league. Havent you seen the interviews of players who said we just want to play hockey and hope any deal is made

The only reason they are so desperate to get back to playing is to get a paycheck again, even if it is less than half of what they were making before. I'm sure there are still players who play for the love of the game, but the majority only care about the $$$$. If the players had gone to Goodenow and told him they didn't care about a salary cap, there would have been no strike. The majority of players were and still are against a salary cap

One thing is sure about that lock-out, Goodenow will not be back at the head of the NHLPA when the season begins. Bettman won that's it!

Not true, my cousin plays for the Chicago Blackhawks and we've talked to him many times, he ses that every player hes talked to jus wanted hockey back, salary cap or not. he sed even if they wernt makin money they wudda played. Notice how u only herd one person say that ^^^. The majority of NHL players wanted it to cum back. Although the strike has fucked up many things in the NHL now, alot of the new rules r fucked up, but who cares, im finally gunna get to see my cousin playin in the NHL, and mabe in a few years ill be playin gainst him, or wit him who noes.
